  2. 288 today, down 1 lb from last week. I was 286 on Wednesday :thumbup: Oh well, I knew eating mushies was going to change things up. Still have to be very positive since it's 17 lost since surgery.

    My first goal is to lose 50lbs from my highest weight. So that would be 269 lb. My second goal would be 244 lb or 75lbs.


  3. Glad I made you chuckle! I aim to please :thumbup: I don't think that I'm a good buddy for sharing the pizza cheating. I mean isn't it going back to our old ways? Hmmm am I a loser bander and not a loser in a good way?

    I just ate FF refried Beans with some mild green salsa. Yummy! I took my time, though no where near 30 mins. I really enjoyed them. Last night I ate one tiny piece of chicken I made for Hubby. Again I chewed the heck out of it, no problem what so ever.

    Do you think the getting stuck or over eating is going to happen once we get a fill? Like am I getting to cocky thinking I can eat these things then once fill happens it's adios?!


  4. i pureed chicken and then made guacamole and mixed it all thinned it w/chicken stock and viola instant mexican-esque fix!

    pizza wise i pureed cottage cheese, a tablespoon of pizza sauce, some pizza herbs, mozzerella cheese and chopped garlic. little chicken stock to thin it and baked it in a ramakin. YUM!

    they are some of my faves too!

    Thin- I'm not a cottage cheese fan. So I'm wondering if you think it has a strong cottage cheesey flavor after baking?


  5. Just- if I didn't ask the few questions that I did, I swear I would've been out of there in 2 minutes too. I thought it was a waste of time. BTW, my Grandma lives in Pana,IL (near Taylorville) and my Mom is in Cereal Springs (near Marion).

    I haven't gained... yet. I expect that will happen as soon as I start regular foods.

    Peggy or where for outh thy Peggy?? I have some Scooby Snacks, if that doesn't grab your attention I don't know what will :thumbup:


  6. Thanks Pharmagirl! That was very interesting.

    BTW, after all of our Mexican food talk yesterday I had some black Beans and salsa. It was really good and hit the spot. I chewed, chewed, chewed probably overkill on the chewing :thumbup: But I felt better safe then sorry. I bought them from a "healthy" mexican fast food place, probably not as healthy as making them at home. But since I had about 1/4 cup I'm not freaking out about the calories.


  7. If you are working out, what are you doing? If you hope to soon, what is your plan?

    I'm commited to walking 1 mile each way from work/train. I bought my monthly train pass and will not drive, except for Doc appt. day.

    I have to drag my bootie out of bed at 4:45am so I can make it to the gym before work. I hope to swim, bike & eliptical. All depends on how my knee reacts.


  8. Thanks Ling! But you my dear are not the worst record keeper. You are a Gem for doing this for us! Kudos to you for keeping us all in check!

    I've been on liquids so I know that has an awful lot to do with the 16 lb loss. God only knows what will happen when I'm allowed to have food. Though I have another 2 weeks before that happens. Super conservative Doc.


  9. Well I'm late to responding. I cheated and survived surgery just fine. I'm not proud of that nor do I encourage it. But stuff happens and we have to move on. That pre-op diet is a killer, though you're lucky to have some extra options. My Doc was super strict.

    I hope time flies quickly for you till Thursday! Wishing you the best of luck and easy recovery. Please come post if you need support, that's what we're all here for!
