That is very interesting Ling. Like you I'm making really poor choices. My Doc only gives fills every 6 weeks- that is if he feels it's needed.
I've lost 40lbs total, well depending on the day. I have 4lbs that I keep losing and gaining back. I'm failing the band I don't feel the band is failing me.

Thanks BG! We've been struggling lately, this is going to help for sure.
I found out this morning that the company which set up surgery is no longer in business. I'm a bit nervous, but trying to remain positive. The surgeon and surgical center are both still in business. I'll hound everyone and do whatever is needed to get a refund.

I paid for my surgery (4/16/09) with Care Credit financing, $13,000. Saturday I received an EOB stating that they paid on $5,000 surgeon's fee. I was so shocked and THRILLED! I had the surgical center bill insurance as well. Who knows if they'll pay or not. But any amount that can be taken out of financing would be awesome!
Now I have to wait to see what happens with the Center's claim and find out how Care Credit will get a refund.

NSV to report, yay!! I went to exchange dress pants that I bought months ago they were way too big when I tried them on this weekend. I was already excited about them being so baggy. Imagine how THRILLED I was when I found that I needed two sizes smaller!! I was so happy.

I lost 3.6 this week. Almost 1/3 of the way to goal.:sad: congrats on the 1/3, that is a great way to start the weekend! Cheers...with a glass of Water of course

Comtemplating- I play the exact same mind games with myself! Better eat now because.... no restriction, stress, fill coming up, etc. I need a buttom to push that will scream "No Heather, you do not NEED to eat you WANT to eat. Get over it!!!" Like you said we just have to keep pushing along. I would love to keep this thread or one like it going daily.
Reagrding your question about if I can maintain the level of excerise- yeah, I can, IF I get my butt outta bed early every morning. For as heavy as I am I seem to tolerate excerise well. The only issue I have is my right knee (arthritis) but it isn't bothering me yet *knock on wood*. I don't think I should count my mile walk to & from work as excerise. I've been doing it for years on & off. Today I did the same routine as yesterday. I was sweating my bootie off...well I hope it comes off :wink2:

Hello All,
I'm really struggling with Portion Control, poor food choices and lack of excerise. I will not fail! I will not let laziness or excuses slow down my progress. I will do this to the best of my ability!
I need/want some help/support/companionship in this daily struggle of the old me vs the me I want to be. Anyone interested in posting (daily or whenever you have a moment) what you are doing to change your habits or what you're struggling wirh? I've already shared what I'm struggling with, here is what I've doing to change for the better:
I woke up at 4:45 am and went to the gym. I rode the recumbant bike for 20 minutes random hill program level 2. I then did 30 mintues on the Eliptical weight loss program, level 2 resistance and level 4/10 incline.
I walked 1 mile to work after 1.5 hour train commute.

Stress, bad food choices and lack of excerise caught up with me. I'm up 4 lbs from last week. Not good not good at all! You play you pay and I'm paying!

281, down 3 lbs. I assume it was the two days of Clear Liquids after my fill. I hope I don't gain it back now that I'm on regular food.
JT- I totally understand where you're coming from. Though we've just got to keep pounding it in our (my) thick skulls that any loss is a good loss. Ups & downs, roller coaster ride to get out of bandster hell! ((HUGS)) you're really doing great.

1. WEIGHT- I'm getting closer to 40 lbs lost since January. I count from then as that was my highest weight and when I decided enough was enough!
2. FILLS- I had a fill on Tuesday. But I do not know how much was put in or what size band I have. I will find out all of that on my next visit. My Doc didn't tell me and I didn't ask :redface:
3. RESTRICTION- I'm on liquids until 4pm today. So I don't know if there has been restriction change. I can tell you that I had NONE before, I could eat whatever and however much I wanted. Though I've tried to eat far less than I used too. Have had some bad days, but more good days.
4. RULES- I'm not the best at following rules. Though there are a few I don't mess with; drinking while eating, eating soft breads and eating right before bed. I've been very good about drinking my Water.
5. ANYTHING ELSE- I walk 2 miles daily Monday- Friday. I do a lot of gardening and yardwork on the weekends. I haven't started working out at the gym yet. I went a few times, but not routine. I've got to just get my butt out of bed at 5am and go! * I think I picked to high of a goal for the July 4th challenge. But any loss is a good loss

I had my first fill yesterday. No muss, no fuss, but I don't know how much was put in. My Doc didn't tell me and I didn't ask... bad bandster points???
He did tell me " NO red meat, potatoes, rice or bread".
I asked "Is this forever & ever?"
He replied "Pretty much!"
I've had all of the above, more than once :confused:
