Thank you for the kind words of support and advice. I only have computer access at work so can't get on the boards at night or weekends. I don't know that I'm going to be able to keep up with such an active board. Please tell me to stop coming by if you would prefer, I can't promise to be the posting buddy.

Thanks BG, I'm sorry if I sounded like a ranting loon. Can I blame monthly hormones? I started looking around the forums. I've only been checking on our threads. Need to use LBT more than just Bunny stuff. Ok, I'm not the only one who's failed, this is only a set back.
Thanks again for the support and advice!

I'm typing this in tears. I've failed the band, life was crazy and I lost, no I gave up control. I'm headed back to the Doctor on Tuesday. I will be up 14lbs since I saw him last in August.
I've started reading The Beck Diet Solution--- six week plan to train your brain to think like a thin person. One of our fellow bunnies suggested it. It seems to be just what I need. I've got to conquer my head hunger & issues. It's the only way I'm going to succeed. Failing the band is not an option--- be there done that.
I also have an appointment to see a therapist. I'm trying to do everything I can to get back on track or I should say find the correct track. The one I was on wasn't going the way I wanted.
I've signed up to start a Workout to Lose program at our health club. I have a friend doing it as well. We also have been walking the current channel every Tues & Thurs at 5am. I can workout in the mornings.
I really just need someone who knows what life with the band is like. I would love a mentor. Thank you in advance if you are willing to mentor.

I am so scared to go to the Doc on Tuesday. I'm going to be up at least 14lbs since I last saw him in August. I know that I have to accept responsibility for my actions. But I'm worried about what he's going to say. I guess I have to think of it as what is the worse thing he can say/do? He can't take the band out, right? Shoot, I wish I knew someone who's been through this before. I can't be the only to have failed the band and wants to improve. I'm kinda freaking out, breathe, pray, take a chill pill, get a grip Heather!:eek:

Another snow bunny here (Chicago/work, Kenosha/home). I'm down 4 lbs. I still have much to re-lose, but I am doing it!
-
Riley- thank you for the book suggestions, I'm waiting for them to arrive any day. I read Look Great, Feel Great last week. I need to keep myself aware and honest about what I'm doing.
I'm starting the 5 day pouch test tomorrow. I have to stock up on liquids tonight.
I'm so nervous about going back to my Doc on the 12th. I know that I have to face the music, that I've failed my band. I hate getting in trouble or letting others down. Clearly I don't have a problem letting down myself :blushing::thumbup:. Work in progress... I will be the fit healthy person I want to be. I am that person, just have some extra baggage right now.

283.00 which is -2 lbs this week. I made an appointment with my Doc for 1/12. I've only had one fill. I'm sure I'm going to be in for a major lecture.
Some other things I've done to get back on track:
1. Made appointment with Therapist. Need to get to the root of why I always set myself up to fail. Why don't I ever finish what I start? Why do I let stress = eating? Why, why, why?! Thought I was in a better place before being banned, I guess I was just fooling myself because I wasn't dealing with major stress at that point. Clearly I have to change in more ways.
2. Signed up with a friend to do a Biggest Loser like competition at our health club. We will be teamed up with two strangers. 12 week program starting 1/12 (same day as my Doc visit). They measure you & give health/exercise assesment the first week. Weekly weigh ins recorded and sent to all participants. Well they send % of weight loss, they do not share your weight.
3. Ordered new jeans in a size smaller. I will get in those soon!!

I've failed the band. But I am here to atone and move on.. or should I say move down? I've only had 1 fill and have completely gone off track and broken every rule out there. It's been a crazy 6 months between deaths, financial issues and work casios. None of it is worthy of blame, I own that. But I will not let my life continue to slide out of control. Rock bottom here I am, now the only way to go is up!

Congrats!!

Hello All! Sorry I've been MIA for so long. I was out of town for a funeral
I've only had 1 fill thus far. I go back on the 24th and hopefully will get another. I completely fell off the bandwagon while away. I've got to start all over training myself as to life with a band. I'm a bit disgusted with myself. But I know that negative thoughts will only lead to failure, so positive thinking and new outlook is what I'm focusing on.
Hope everyone is well and healthy. If you have a minute and feel like giving a quick update, I sure would enjoy hearing from you!

279 for me, sorry to be MIA for so long. Hope to catch up with everyone.

My hubby keeps telling me my "Butt is so much smaller! It used to be really big." Ummm, thanks Honey:rolleyes::biggrin:

Yeah, I felt the same way. But he is a good Doc. Though don't expect lots of fills. He's very diet/high Protein is the way to go. Not that that is a bad thing. Just his way.

279 for me. Haven't been on here at all lately. Must get back to the support. 2nd fill tomorrow, I HOPE!!
-
280 for me I really hope my fill next week helps. I haven't made enough changes in my lifestyle. I've got to get it together!!

JT I can't wait to hear what your Doc has to say. 30lbs is fantastic!

Hi! Nice to meet you both! Did either of you deal with Lakeshore Bariatics? Or did you just go through Dr.Rosette's practice?
I like Dr. Rosette, he's pretty cut & dry. But I appreciate non-bs and just get stuff done! Though I do feel he's a bit conservative on the fills. Maybe that's just because I've read of others having more.
Do you guys go to support groups in person or just use this board?

I'm really not sure. I dont' know that I've felt what your describing. Hopefully someone else will respond.

I decided I'm going to give this a try. Though I had Fiber One Bar for Breakfast. So I guess tomorrow will be my true start. I can eat however much I want, no restriction at all. I need to get back on track as to what life being banded is. I'm expecting too much from the band and too little of myself.

Jay Tee I hope this does the trick for you. 100lbs loss will be one SWEET victory. I for sure will be doing the happy dance for you.
Thanks again everyone for your words of support. They meant a lot to me. I went to the Doc yesterday, his scale was 6 lbs MORE than mine at home. I almost puked when I saw the number. Oh well, it is what is. He did give me a lecture but it wasn't awful- back to the LB basics!! I lucked out because he had a student with him. Otherwise I know he would've been tougher. I appreciate that about him, the no nonsense tell it like it is dude. Well maybe I appreciate more when I'm on his good side . He told the student he was putting in 4. I didn't have a problem srinkng the Water after. But last night I had terrible hiccups. Not sure if it was the fill or affects of the Cereal I had for lunch (grape nuts). I'm on liquids for a few days.
I was wondering if and when you have time can you post what you eat during a typical day. Thanks!
