That was a while back...now that I'm used to the ebb and flow of the hunger, I seem to be fine. I'm at aoubt a 48 pound loss since March 31, so I can't complain.

Hey Shalee- wanted to say Hi! I had my surgery done by Dr. Garcia and Dr. Naik on March 31 of this year. How long ago were you banded? I saw that you had already had a TT. I'm very much looking forward to that, because I swear I have another 40 pounds in saggy skin alone! Any way, just wanted to say Hi to another Bakersfieldian!

Hi Butterfly - We have a couple of support groups in town. My bariatric center is Bariatric Solutions. I'm not sure when the group is, (so obviously I haven't been) but I can check for you. The other one is at MercySouthwest Hospital. I'd like to find other Bako folks and start something ourselves, more informal and just sharing experiences...no classroom style stuff. Do you attend a support group in Houston and do you think it helps?

Amy Elizabeth - thanks for checking in. I'm feeling a lot better, even hungry, which kind of scares me. Yesterday was the first day I felt pretty good and thought I might live. Right now I'm totally into mashed potatoes. What foods are you eating? I find that post-op diets are all so different...
