Mine was when I couldnt use public toilets any more and one day I had to come home with a dirty bottom because in the cubical i couldnt open my legs enough to whipe myself (even though whiping was hard enough as it was). So for me when I couldnt clean my own bum it was time to get it done. Oh and also when I told my dad how much I weighed and he cried. . and I have NEVER seen my dad cry before in my life. Wow 16 pretty cool. I think I am NOW happy that I went through my teenage years fat. . it taught me so much and I wouldnt be the person I am now if I had everything handed to me. 17 is the youngest so far I have met. I got my first refferal when I was 17, then seriously looked into it when I was 19 then i chickend out. . So I got it on my 23/24th birthday I weighed 21kg/45lbs more when I finnaly got banded than I did when i I was 19 Colleen

What an intresting topic. . . Fat doesnt discrimitate, but I think to get a band you have to be educated a) that it is an option and you can afford it. So maybe there is is a correlation between IQ and banding. This is something I have been thinking about for a while. . "Informed Choice" could you give a person with an Intellectual disability a band? Could it help people with Prada Willy Syndrome. I know this is off your topic but it has been going through my mind lately. Thanks for raising an intresting topic

They are all over Melbourne and Victoria, we even had a Clothes swap at my house a month ago. . It was awsome. . .
