I was told by the doctor that I would only be able to hold about 4-6 oz of food without being very full. I cheated on my diet last week and was still able to eat a whole quarter pounder with cheese, fries and drink from McDonalds. Is that normal? I have only had 1 fill and am wondering if I need a lot more to decrease the size of my stomach. I lost 20 lbs between the time right before my surgery and the month following it, but I have not lost anything else since. I guess that is 1 reason why I cheated. I was under the impression that after surgery I would fill up VERY quickly and remain that way until it was time for the next meal. Any advice would be very appreciated as I am very frustrated!!!!Huse,
All you need is a fill or two. don't give up and try to rember that even though you can eat it doen't mean you should. I am wondering if there is any food that you can feel your restriction on? If so eat those types of foods more. Also you have to remember DO NOT DRINK ANYTHING DURING OR AFTER MEALS FOR AT LEAST 45 MIN! This is a huge key that takes time and practice getting used to. when you drink with a meal or after you wash down the food that you really want to stay in your upper pouch for that full feeling we came down this road to achive. Good Luck!

I am having the circumferencial, whole body, lift. I decided since I have all the excess folds on my sides and back I would go ahead with the whole thing. Only one recovery and one hospital expense..I am planning on 3 1/2 weks off. Better to be extra cautious. I can always go back earlier if I feel better and get DR clearance. I have questions for my DR, stitches or staples. I kno there will be 2 drains. and they get removed based on when the drainage subsides. My daughter is a nurse so she will be my main go to person.. Pre-op apt is July 23, only 1 week before surgery. So will call back to office and find out about any pre -op testing. And I am getting very excited..Lynn and Scrappy,
How much does it cost for a full body lift or a regular Tummy Tuck? Will you be brave and post before and after pics?:smile2:

I am so inspired by all of your pictures! Everyone looks amazing. Today is 3 months and 5 days out. I feel wonderful and people are finally starting to notice. I went from a 32 to a 20! This is the best thing I have ever done for myself I only wish I had the guts to do it 10 years ago! I am 33 years old...I can't even imagine what my life would have been like if I had this done earlier. Most likely even more of a blast just a bit less embarrassing and in better clothes.

:rolleyes:I love being cold. I was always the first one to sweat and be hot before anyone else. I used to dread going into stores because I would sweat so much that my hair would be drenched in a matter of minutes. Now I keep my house set at 76 to 78, I freeze at work and I hardly ever sweat (I live in Arizona) and I love it.

I am so getting this done! after I loose all my weight of course.

It's not sugested that you get prego for at least a year to give your body time to loose weight. truely though once your body looses the weight they say your cycle levels out and bing bada boom it happens. thats what I am praying for. Its why I had the surgery and I feel WONDERFUL so far.

So when the Dr warns of throwing up too much is he talking about PBing? What is too much. Is it only throwing up if stomach acid is involved? I PB almost every day. I had my band installed March 20th 2009 it is now June 24th 2009 and I have lost 84 pounds. I have so many questions. What is normal. How do I know if I have slippage or have streached my pouch....How much food am I suposed to able to eat? am I loosing weight fast enough? Can I loose it faster? What about extra skin?
Oh by the way I need to update my signature. Also how do I attach my ticker from the ticker making website?

How do you add the weight ticker to the bottom of your profile?

Is sliming throwing up? Do you only count actual throw up with acid as throwing up? Can getting ride of the food in your pouch cause slipage?
