I understand what you mean, there's all this excitement yet you still have this nervous feeling. As a recent bander(banded 3/30/09) i can definitely say that i have no regrets i did the preop diet to the tee and dropped 23lbs before my surgery. The diet prepared me for my eating habits as of now. just take it from me the first week is the worst lol i don't think i will ever eat broth again but now i'm in soft foods yayyyy! good luck on your journey and keep in touch!
