Hi. I'd check your benefits brochure. If I'm not mistaken, it is a FEDERAL LAW that wls is covered in all federal employee health plans starting in 2007(check out Google--morbid obesity federal employee health plan). They can make you jump thru hoops, but it and all testing s/b covered! Also, check w/your Dr....I have bcbs federal ohio and had NO problems at all with anything! I'd definitely double check! Good luck! Oh, btw, enjoy the barium swallow! I almost puked not only on the tech, but the doctor!

Hey Kim! Well, I'm 205 don't think I'm doing so well...Maybe I'm just emotionally down in general, but I am SOOOOO hungry sometimes I can scream! I've only had one fill, but guess I'm expecting miracles too soon. I'm 2 months out (to the day) but it seems like forever. I'm having problems w/portion control now since my restriction is minimal if any. Hi. Got my first fill on Tuesday. Thanks for letting me know that I might be tight for as much as a week after! I was getting some mushies down OK, but I took my pills and about vomited each time, including this AM. I guess it will be crush city for the pills then. Glad I read this thread!

Carlene: I agree w/you mostly on this one. When the rappers or any musical group use degrading lyrics they ARE singling out a specific group, be it women, gays, etc. When they sing about a 'ho', I would assume that they're singing about more offten then not, an african american female (obviously having no respect for their own female relatives). The almighty dollar would work as far as a boycott. I know it's easy to say, well then turn it off, but it's not that easy. You've got so many kids home alone after school, on breaks, etc. that they can't be monitered 24/7. Personally, I think BOTH Imus and rappers are wrong in that respect. Imus should have just thought before he spoke! That was just plain stupidity!
