I have regular ear piercings- no big deal, but when I got my cartilage pierced it didn't hurt so bad when they did it, but it took a YEAR for it to finally heal so that I could sleep on that side! (speaking of which i need to go put that back in, they made me take it out for surgery)
I'm totally getting my bellybutton done when I'm skinnier.

I'm in for this month, but let me get back to the states before I can tell you all my info...

Hi everyone! Guess what, I am alive!
I had a panic attack that woke me up the night before my surgery, and I almost changed my mind, but it's done now!
Yesterday I felt like I had been run over by a Mack truck, then by last night a 4 wheel drive, now today just a car Except after hauling my luggage up my port site is hurting again. Oh well, tomorrow just a bike?
I haven't had much gas pain yet, just pain at the port site. I also keep getting these feelings like my stomach is cramping up, but they go away about as fast as they come.
I had a pretty big hernia Dr. Zapata said, but he fixed that too.
Anyway, I'm hoping your toe is feeling better BGP. I know the feeling when you've got all the science to back something up but people don't want to believe it- that's poopy
Anyway, going to go lay down and see if i can't make my side feel better. Talk to all of you later tonight!

Paulax,
I'm here all by my self! I keep thinking "I'm such a strong person", but deep down i really wish someone were here :bananapartyhat: Too bad there really wasn't anyone to bring. Oh well :bananapartyhat: Earlier i was thinking, wow, I'm in a foreign country by myself, I should do something crazy, like get a piercing or a tattoo or something, and then i remembered- I'm having surgery! Crazy enough :bananapartyhat:

Congratulations, and I LOVE the tattoo.

Scared, SCARED! Running around with my head under my arm. Tomorrow's the big day! I need a great big tranquilizer.
-
ROFLMAO
We crack me up!
I think we should have rooms near each other in case we get "waterlogged"
-
Liz! How exciting, you will do great! Be strong and try to get some sleep tonight.Where in Mexico are you?
I love the forgein money, it is so much prettier than American $$
Hi BGP. I will. I had a mini emotional breakdown at dinner, just a couple of tears. Made an international call to my parents- they weren't home. :bananapartyhat: Oh well!
I'm in monterrey right now and will be until the 2nd when I fly back home to florida.
I was thinking about you as I wandered the mall today. Has anyone checked your uric acid? Is your big toe red and swollen? I'm wondering about gout.

So say someone was going to attempt to bring some contraband ETOH (alcohol)... It should go in the carryon? Should it perhaps find a Water bottle to fit into?
I'm sure I'm not talking about myself... ***looking around*** :bananapartyhat:

Karla,
Thanks. I'm kindof scared right now, but this time tomorrow I will be banded!

Hi everyone. I'm sitting here in my hotel room in Mexico. I'm a little (lot) nervous :bananapartyhat: Alma is supposed to be here in half an hour with some paperwork. Hmmm.
I went to the mall across the street from the hotel and do you know what they had???? My FAVORITE candy from childhood! I was a military brat and lived in germany and when we went to the actual german stores they had these little chocolate eggs called kinder eggs (kinder means child in german) with an orange and white foil wrapper and a toy in the middle. So you guys KNOW i had to have one, right? I haven't had one since I left germany (3rd grade), but I still think of them often... it was just as good as i remember them too. I know that I probably shouldn't be eating candy, but I just had to. I bought a box to bring home to my little sister. (no i'm not going to eat them too...)
KMO- how are things going? Are you out of the hospital yet? How's the pneumonia???? I'm worried about you!
Thanks for the prayers SherriJo, I need them :bananapartyhat: !
So does anyone else think that pesos are so cool? I mean they're two colored! I'm keeping some as souveniers.
I took my before pictures. They are SO GROSS! I'll be posting them later (Like next week, or maybe when I have some afters...)
Okay, I'm rambling (I'm nervous). I'm sure I'll be on here later tonight too! My time to see the doc is 7am- bright and early!

I know that when I was pregnant and I was craving something, the doctor said to give into it, as long as it was along healthy lines. I couldn't eat all the chocolate and potato ships I wanted. But he believed that cravings were a way of the body needing something. Women who crave Iron during their pregnancies though have been known to get such strong cravings they eat weird things, like raw liver, dirt, and laundry detergent. It's called Pica. Weird stuff. Not that I've ever done it.... :Banane56: But I did learn about it in school.

At least you weren't wearin buttcrack panties Paul!! :target:

Liquid tylenol is often in Walmart. if you can't find the regular adult type, go look for tylenol "sore throat"... just liquid tylenol too.... check the ingredients label to be sure though.
You know how horoscopes have their "cusps"? Well I feel like i'm on the july/august cusp

I feel you guys! I get banded in 3 days... ACK. I've been "last suppering" my heart out. You know, I know in my head that I'll be able to eat food again, but my tummy isn't hearing it. I'm scared of the post-op diet.

As for big girl undies and bras that are sexy...try www.torrid.com! They have FABULOUS stuff! and bras that are built like battleships, hold you really well, and last a long time, but still look ultra hot! They even sell all their bras with cloth straps, and plastic clear straps for your tanks and strpless shirts. Speaking of strapless! they actually have strapless bras that work for us big girls!! Check them out!http://www.torrid.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&RN=773&ITEM=587503 I wear this bra and it makes me feel great all day!
http://www.torrid.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&ITEM=584503 And this bra is AWESOME!!! Not only does it offer amazing support and is built like a tank, it is lightly padded so you have a smooth, solid form. no long can anyone tell that you are maybe a little cold.
Thanks for the info funny. I'm actually sitting here laughing because somehow my 40DD size isn't listed there!!! LOL I think it's a conspiracy! "They" don't want me to be cute. LOL

And now I know:) .Ok...
Now I wonder, did I want to know?:biggrin1:
TMI, maybe?
Now wait a minute... We've discussed blow jobs and many other things, and now my one question is TMI? I thought this was an open and liberated thread. I"ll go remove my offensive posting, but I don't honestly know why it was so offensive as compared to everything else on this thread.

I'm as freaky as ya wanna be!Telly, what was your question?
Did i miss it?
Real Sex was my favorite HBO program, when I had HBO.
There's a show on showtime where they do this reality show and follow this guy around, but the kicker is that he's a porn star/director! I kindof like that show...

I can't wait!!!

Hi. I was banded 7/06, had my first fill (1cc) 2 months ago, and now my second fill a couple of days ago (2.5-3cc md is unsure?). Since that time I have felt as though liquids go down slowly and i'm having a hard time eating solids even with chewing VERY carefully. They don't necessarily come back up but they sit there and hurt. Soup is fine, and mushies seem to sit for a while but then go. Anything else and I'm miserable. Am I too full or just not used to this thing?
