    Too tight?

I completely agree, if you can stand it, I would give it atleast a week! I thought I was WAY too tight with my last fill but toughed it out and I think I found my sweet spot:) hang in there!
  2. YOU DO NOT HAVE RESTRICTION if yoan eat several cups of food. I have restriction and a 4th of a cup is max for me. You need a fill or you need to be checked because your little pouch should NOT be holding several cups of food.
  3. Oh don't be scared. Take small bites, eat slowly and you will be fine! I didn't have my first sliming or "stuck" episode until my 4th fill and 4 months after my surgery.
  4. As far as I understand a replacement would be if you had it completely removed and a new one put in. A revision is fixing things like slips. If you have your insurance book it should tell you right in there.
  5. Vicki most insurance companies won't pay for a "rebanding" persay but yours would be a revision and most insurance companies do cover one revision per lifetime of the member.

    frustrated

Wow I am a year out and have 7.5cc in my band. I can't eat more than a 1/4-1/2 cup of food at a time. How much are you able to eat with the 7cc? I am just suprised how fast they filled you.

    Coffee???

It is so funny how each doctor has their own ideas on things. My doctor actually encouraged coffee as a great way to get in my daily water intake.

    frustrated! Need advice.

Yes, people will tell you to relax. I understand you are anxious but really you need to know this is NOT a magic fix that will suddenly make you skinny. You need to put in the work to see the results and right now your body is healling so you CAN"T put in the work. Once you are able to put in the work I promise you will see results. Until then best of luck to you!

If you need any advice or questions about anything let me know!

double chin almost gone and I have cheek bones now!

You look great too! I couldn't imagine how great I would feel the first time I noticed my collar bones sticking out. It was an overwhelming AMAZING feeling!
  17. I sadly have NO boobs left:( but I plan on purchasing some towards goal;)
  18. Thank you for the kind words:)

  19. Thank you for the kind message Mandy! I was looking at your statistics and I started about 50lbs heavier than you did! It was a really hard decision for me to have the surgery but I am sure glad I did. I however told EVERYONE! There are pros and cons to telling people and keeping it a secret so I understand both sides. The upside for me was 2 other coworkers who decided to have the surgery too once they saw the results and how well it went! So I figured by telling my story I helped add a few years to a couple other peoples lives.

  22. I started running about a month ago. It was a struggle to go about a 1/4 of a mile. One day I decided to try and push myself to a half of a mile. Anyways, once i got to half a mile I felt like Forrest Gump. I just kept running until I hit 2.5 miles. I had an immediate breakdown and cried when I got off the treadmill. I walked outta the gym and said F$$$ Yeah I can do this! If I can anyone can! Good luck!

    FYI on Medic Alert Jewelry

I was curious as to why you would put NO SUGARS on it or put diabetic when you are not. I almost find that more risky than not having one on at all.
