    Mandi that is tough. but hopefully it will only be for a short time, the only good news was that you did not have a slip. Hopefully the nurse in NS has a few fills under her belt, that she will have no problem finding your port. Sorry you are having to go thru this when you have come so far, but it will get better, think positive. :hug: Maria :mad:

    The stoma is opening from the pouch into the large part of your stomach, that is were the food passes through. And no you can not see it. Maria

    Dame J, maybe you should call the clinic, or e-mail Dr.Cobourn and ask about it, no sense in worrying yourself that will make you feel worse. Once the healing period is over you will realise that this was worth it, when your clothes start getting to big, you will realise it was worth it.     Welcome home Astrotoes, glad everything went okay for you, i had a hernia repair done at the same time also, i did not even know i had a hernia. The gas pain will subside in a few days, i found walking helped me, again welcome back you are now on the band side of life, after your healing time is up you will be able to post lots of great weight losses.     Gaffer, they still want you drink some after the surgery for the protien, i did not have a lot left thank goodness, but i still was told to use them. You are doing fabulous with the weight loss 23 lbs already WAY TO GO :clap2: :clap2: Maria
