  9. I have been banded 8 weeks now, and even though i know i am doing well with my weight loss, i feel it, and, notice it in my clothes. In my head i know it but my eyes still see the old me in the mirror. Today i decided to go shopping with my daughter for my grandson's birthday next week, i hate shopping, i suffer from low back pain and 10 minutes in the store i am ready to go home. Well not today:) we had most of the shopping done before my back started to bother me, it was wonderful. That was the positive side of the day. The best part was when my daughter, who had been looking at me from a side angle said :wow2: mom you look smaller now front and back, well i just had to give her a hug:hug: right there in the store. That was the compliment part of the day When i came home i decided to really look at myself properly, and yes i did look smaller, it was wonderful, this is really working, after so many diet failures we have found something that is going to be succussfull. :clap2: :clap2: Life is wonderful:) Group hug to everyone. Positive thoughts and Compliments

No pictures yet Argon, like you i avoid having my picture taking. I did not have a decent before picture for Marie to put in my file, my daughter took one of me to send to them. Hopefully that will change as more weight comes off. JMO, Yes it was the best decision i have ever made, and to feel this good with a thirty four lb weight loss. I am like a new person already, no more couch potatoe, i seem to have more energy, it is great.

    My first fill

Thank you everyone. TexasTerry who is doing your fill? is it the same doctor who did your surgery? if it is you should be okay. Cloe, Yoda, I thought I was doing well the way I was, even though it has been only one day I realise how much I was actually eating, more than I should have been, compared to what I have had today I obviously was eating too much.

    My first fill

Well i had my first fill yesterday, i was a little apprehensive about having it done, but Dr Cobourn  with his wonderful bedside manner put me at ease right away. My appointment was for 4.45 and i was finished at 5.00, it was great no problem at all. Maria:banana

    New Lapbander

Hello Mandi Thank you for the quick response, I was banded by Dr.Cobourn a week ago today May 26th. I like the oatmeal idea, but I dont think so on the cottage cheese, not a big fan of cottage cheese. I have been having Optifast for breakfast, chicken broth for lunch followed by Jello with liquid yogurt(Yop), and the same for dinner pretty boring. Oh well I made it through 3 weeks of Optifast I will survive one more week of liquids. Maria
