Thanks guys, i hope i can find some relief too. Cloe i have no idea what triggerd it, i woke up last Sunday with a little twinge by Monday it was really bad. It just frustrating that the doctor just keeps giving me pills for the pain, and they do not bloody well work, this time i am going to insist that he send me to someone who will tell me what is wrong. Cloe, my back was okay for a while, but this week it started acting up again, it is very depressing having back pain and not been able to go to work, grocery shopping, get in and out of bed, and nothing i do or take helps, so it is back to the doctor again, there has to be someone out there with answer's for me, and something to help me. Maria

Question regarding cc amounts in the first fill.
Irishmist replied to Doriana's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
If you have you have a 10cc band that is normal for a first fill, at least that is what my dr told me, the second fill was just one 1cc to bring it up to 6cc. Hope this helps. Maria:rose: -
That sure is funny Astro, good moniker for you for sure LOL. Maria

Welcome Astrotoes and Maggiec, glad you have decided to join us, and you have made a good choice with Dr. Cobourn. It is scary and exciting all at the same time, but you know what it is a good decision, i know for me it was one of the best decision's i have ever made for myself. Good luck to both of you, and again welcome.:welcome: Maria

You are not alone in the weight gain Makemelean, lots of us gained over the holidays, do not beat yourself up over it. You will not have much restriction until you have your first fill. No you are not alone lots of us have gone through the same thing, and you will be okay, just hang in there, let us know what the surgeon has to say, and please do not think of yourself as a failure. Good luck Maria

For 2007 i would love to be at the 100 lb mark by my anniversary date, which is May 26th, that means a 30 lb loss, which means i need to lose 6 lbs a month. So my challenge for January is to lose 6 lbs., and i also need to work on my Water intake i still struggle with getting in enough for the day. I would also like to add on an excerise challenge, at least to start walking more, and work on from there. Good luck to everyone :gluck: Maria
