I was told by the girl only from my Docs office that I would have to stay for 24 hours. My surgery is not until 1:pm. I wish I could just go home. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy two years ago and that was really no problem at all. I was only off work for a week. I am hoping to go back to work right a way with this procedure. My surgery is on a Thursday and I am hoping to go back to work on tuesday. We will see. Good luck on the weight loss. Cheryl
