I know exactly how you fell. You've come so far so fast. The change is truly dramaitic.Just the thought of gonig back to the fat depressed girl i was is terrifying. I think once we've had time to mentally adjust to our new bodies it wil easier to maintain without worrying so much. you look beyond fantastic!!

Thanks, i thought i was gonna hate it at 1st. but im really loving it. I always said i was gonna cut my hair short if i ever got thin! Im the same way you are ,still losing but not really trying! i love my band. congrats on your 1 year. cant wait to see where i am in february!!

the simpsons comic book guy is the perfect comparison to HH a know it all jerk with no apparent life. i wouldnt be surprised if they looked a like. ive id my run ins with him in the past, hes fun to argue with for a while but his nastiness grows old quickly

i started about 4 weeks post op walking. i have a ski machine that i use at home a lot.i dont really weight train but ive got a small set of dumbells that i use to work on my arms. besides my stomach they;re my worst area.

im only 5'4. people always think im taller cuz i wear heels all the time. how tall are you?

i keep changing my goal weight too. im 168 right now. there was a time when id have killed to be this size. right now im thinking stopping at 140 or a size 8. maybe even a my craziest dream of a size 6. wish me luck!!

your band should be fine. just wait til you've had a fill or 2 and start getting some restriction. the weight will start coming off

thanks sweetie. i think we,ve got similar tastes in clothes, lol. but did you notice it still takes forever to get ready to go anywhere. it used to be i tried on outfit after outfit getting frutrated trying to hide my fat, now its cuz everythin looks so good i cant decide which makes me look the cutest. lol

sometimes the debates get a little heated but the people on here are all really great, our debates just get a bit heated from time to time!!! but for the most part people just wanna be helpful

good luck on your surgery. and i commend you on taking control of your weight now instead of later. if i could done the same thing at 50lbs overweight instead of a 100 , id have done it in a minute. no one has the right to judge our choices and they certainly dont know what personal health issues or family history that lead us to our choices, best of luck, i know you will do great

thanks for helping the other day, but you should go over to the sleeve site and look at the lapband vs sleeve thread, the people that tried to trash me and call me a liar for saying that not everyone i knew with the sleeve was happy, the people that called me a liar and told me i was trying to ruin peoples surgeries, well they trashed the band, said it was no good, allowed it to be said that the band was a bad a idea for anyone. and wasbubblebutt is a site administrator there, hows that for ironic
