Is it pain or burning? I am having burning only when I eat or drink. but it eventually fads..and I have no insurance at this time so Im bumbed

what type of meds...im experiencing the same kind of side pain only when I eat or drink its like a burning sensation......the doctor gave me a persciption for prevacid? I think thats the name of it. I dont have any ins so i left it there at the pharmacy like a idiot lol but it was 211.00 cant afford that right now.

the left shoudler pain is normal. Try and walk as much as you can to get that trapped gas moving out of your shoulder. It took off 1 week and 3 days becuase of the shoulder pain i had no stomach pain at all. I was banded last year on the 21st of January. COngrats and you will be fine. Be bless

what kind of symptons do you have when its tight...reflux, burning above the large incision, waking up at night with pb in your mouth? those are all my symptons...Im not sure whats going on. I got a fill in dec 28 and just in the last 2 weeks it feels like it tighten on me along with pms its hard to eat anything.please advise or advice thanks

Yes count me in as well. I had my one year annisversary yesterday. Im down 84lbs. Started at 337 cas of today i weigh 253 yeah I want to get to 235 by march 20th my birthday. so right around easter is okay.

let me know how you do after six months...i had no problems my first 8 months but after that i have been throwing up. I'm finding Soup is the only option some days that will stay down, besides liquids and thats some liquids.....

It will be a year on January 21, 2010 so far so good. I am just now starting to experience some side effects: like this burning on the right side of my stomach just below my rib cage. It comes and goes and I believe it may just be some inflamation from pbing and drinking Water to fast.

I HAVE 18 LBS TO GO I HAVE BEEN BANDED SINCE 01-21-09 I AM NOT AS MOTIVATED AS i SHOULD BE YIKES. BUT I AM NOT WHERE I USE TO BE EITHER HOLLA PRAISE THE LORD.

Im coming up on a year and I THANK God that I may not be where I would like to be BUT IM NOT WHERE I USE TO BE. HALLEJUAH!... I STARTED OUT AT 337LBS I AM NOW 255LBS AS OF TODAY PRAISE THE LORD.

has anyone noticed that when you vomit its not like a real vomitting, at least not for me.. just curious...

I weigh myself everyday as well...when u work at a doctors office its so tempting to get on the scale..the scale at home i barley use go figure lol

I drink strong drinks every now and then found out no problem but I am done drinking for personal reasons..well religious reasons. I am not ashame of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Drinking is just not for me.

I am so sorry that you are going thru this. If u beleieve in prayer U can ask God to help you. And he will. I have no specific advice but to say thank God he did it before you got into years of marriage. I am not for divorce either. I have been banded for 1 year on Jan 21, 2010. Never had men trying to talk to me but now that i have lost the weight i have a lot of men trying to talk to me. I have met one and hes the one I want but hes not to serious. So I am an eotiional wreck becuase hes the only one i want also.... BUt I have to say to myself that I derserve better than this. You have to know that there is someone out there that will treat you just as good as the last one. But you wont know that until you let go. Be Bless and always know Prayer changes things!

Oh yes you are not alone. smile. its crazzzy but i guess its just part of the plan. Have you notice that your band is tighter in the mornings i cant eat until after 1 or 2

it will be a year for me on 01-21-10.. i started out 337lbs and i am now 256lbs..i believe i would be farther but i have been eating sweets and not working out. i havent worked out in 4 1/2 months .. but i am determenined to be at 215 by june of this year......You will be okay Im glad we are not were we use to be. Keep up the good work!

i was told that would lonly be the painful part of the surgery is the pain in the left shoulder..and boy oh boy were they right..... that pain is from trapped gas... it is normal after a lapband surgery it took me about 4 weeks before it went away. It will get better. but it hurts like a oooh yeah

You may need to have it loosen or give it a week to see if the swellen has gone down around the band....If you are still able to eat and not vomit u r doing good.
