my wifes been well losing steady maybe alittle less you know women...seems people get around one weight then kinda hit a wall

Steady. thats all can say . was losing so fast that i think it all just caught up. have just started losing again i think i was not eating enough in a day truck driving dont get to eat the right kind of food. sp i up'd my intake and i started losing again. i am around 90lbs so hope to hit 100 by my one year

hey hope xmas was good for u and yours...i did not to bad stayed about the same weight over xmas never lost but never expected to u know....my weight lost is kinda differant i go for 3-4weeks not losing any then one day wake up and i lose ten to fifteen pounds over night...its kinda tuff at the start but i must admit exercise is the best thing u can do...i wish i could get going on that department not doing so well at that....how about u???

i had no restriction through xmas too so i am so glad i did not gain....i read on here that the lapband is just a tool and boy are they ever right...and yes u will find your way with is lapband thing and it will get better

Hey now...ya my wife did get it done too she got hers done in may...onmi in regina is cheaper thats cool....you can go back to linda pretty much when u feel like it...BUT...she will take it slow...no ten hour drive...3 fills aand i am at 6cc that getting close to sweet spot...

Ya it was not cheap i got about two thousand off my surgery because they were having a special deal on in june when i got mine done..you cant think too much about the money i didnt care i was at a bad place last spring i had to quit my job i was hurting so bad or lose wieght u should not regret having the surgery the sooner you get going and eating right things will go well for u

how much weight do you have to lose? are you tall? i am 5"11 and was 404 when i started this...bmi was f'n way up there that was for sure....back to the money thing i said to the wife if it costs me this much and i only lose 50lbs was it worth it and i said yes i have never been small i am at the same weight i was 12 years ago when i got married so i am happy i sit all day and drive truck so ido NOT work out i hope when i lose enough weight i can start....makes me kinda made that i have wasted all this time not working out...just think how much weight i could have lost if i did

Hey pablo ya linda mcphee is great. she is pretty good and gives good advice she has had her band for 2 1/2 years now so what better person to ask...linda gave me like 2.5 cc on my first fill...i am up too 6 cc and have had three fills....think i had 1.5 in my band when i came home from surgery....everyone is differant but cant believe the 1cc for first fill

Hey dont want to jump on the maples bashing band wagon but i have not been back to maples since i had surgery....they started using the nurse right after i had mine....my wife and i use the fill nurse we found here....she is great...never felt the need to drive 12 hours for nothing....sorry to here about that....so heres what u do....two choises wait about a week and go get another fill in regina....or wait till after xmas to go see her....not sure what u want to do.....not much fun at xmas learning how to eat and PB 'n all over the place and trust me u will throw up basicly learning how to eat again...send me a personal message for details on the fill nurse if u need her.....good luck....things r going to change:):)

hey there. i have lost 80 lbs so far. i am a big boy i started at 404 and now 320 or so. maples was a great place. people there were pros. have u been there? r u looking into maples? life changing surgery at least for me and the wife. she is down too and doing great. any other answers you want let me know. all i can say its worth the money.....

hope you see this easier to write to you on this wall. things are going well for me and my wife. she got her band a month before me and is doing good with her 1st fill. so do you truck long haul or do you do short stuff? i haul fuel long haul. gone 2 days home 2 days not a bad job but the eating away then home eating gets me mixed up sometimes. hope your surgery date stays for Nov. for you. try and stay away from those carbs as much as you can it real helps to lose before surgery. hope things are well with you and yours!!!

my wife got her band on may 12 th and i just got my band on June 20 th things are going well for us both i have lost 50 or so and my wife has lost about 30. she says she is stuck and not losing weight as fast as me but i say its just a man thing lol

take a look at my pics there is one with the wife and i. see u at maples i 'll be the one in pain.

my doc said i have to lose 20 pounds before i even could get surgery so i have been on a carnation breakfast shakes and salad for about 6 weeks even before i started my pre op diet.(i am alittle grouchy)

i am on a medi trim diet 2 shakes a day with a protein medi trim bar . 2 cups of salad and nothing over 5 calories. pickles are 5 calories or so. good and crunchy. they never said nothing about broth but some people are having it my wife did when she was on her pre op diet.

think i am going to try making a soup veggies in it tomatoes and cabbage onions carrots and see if that will help.

my work puts me on the road for two days on two days home so will be nice to have something warm to have.

just keep positive. we all can do it.

toots thats great that great that you lost 77lbs!! i go in for my suregery on june 20th and my wife got hers on may 12th and is doing great. keep on doing what your doing seems to be working for you
