had surgery on april 20th. today felt really good and went grocery shopping. did not lift any thing heavier than 10 pound probably only about 5. just lots of trips from car to house. 1 bag at a time. (hubby golfing...not happy with me when he got home). now i have a little nagging dull ache in middle of belly. does not really hurt just i feel something. i go to doctors on april 29 for post op appt. anyway anyone else do lots of stuff to early? or anyone have a opinion what i did. i would think if band came lose it would hurt and i would know. thanks

thanks for the message........ i am still on liquids, no shakes yet, not allowed until after my 1st post op, which is wednesday the 29th. then i think it is shakes yogurt, mash potatos, so i have while before any food is introduce. just was upset about weight gain and oxygen. sandi

hi everyone, had surgery april 20th, but am home with oxygen. I also have copd. anyone else have that problem. i am hoping to be taken off when i go post opt appointment april 20th. also having diarreha (how no food for 12 days now)???anyone else? got on scale and gained 10 pounds. had lost 7, but put all but 3 back on!!! now that is upsetting. anyone else. also feeling so tried. i guess this is all normal just need just reinforcement. thanks

hi, just started my pre op today. surgery is scheduled for april 20th, so i only have to be on 5 days. 3 shakes per day - broth - etc. only noon not so bad so far:rolleyes2:!

hi, have a quick question. how much weight did you loss in the first 6 weeks to 2 months after surgery? i have family reunion June 6 having surgery april 20th....last time alot of the people saw me i was 80 lbs less. know i will not loss that much, but i was hoping for at least 20 to 30. thanks everyone

JUST GOT THE PHONE CALL!!!!! I HAVE NOW BECOME A APRIL BANDSTER, SO EXCITED, HAPPY, AND SCARED. WAITING FOR DOCTORS OFFICE TO CALL TO SCHEDULE DATE, SAID IT WILL BE WITHIN THE NEXT 30 DAYS. ALL I CAN SAY IS WOOHOO!!!!:frown:

hi, so sorry to hear your problem, but i did change doctors and hostipals 5 months into everything. ( 1st doctors office never got back to me with anything) anyway the doctor i have now just got all the info from 1st doctor, i am now waiting for approval. this is my 6th month. i am in pittsburgh/ good luck sandi

anyone have this insurance...waiting to be approved.... problem gained wieght on 6 month diet, but lost it back to original weight. doctors office said i might be denied because i did not do well on diet. do have problems bmi 40 sleep apena high blood pressure borderline diabetic. you think that might help me get oked. thanks

hi everyone, I have highmark security blue insurance......quick question do anyone else have and how long did it take for you to be approved? also did not do well on 6 month diet....lost then gained then lost...back to orginal weight. am worried about being oked. finished up everything this week, doctors office sending to insurance today. any replies are greatly appriecated. thanks
