  1. Ok I know this might seem like something silly to be worried about but here we go, I love my breast and they're one my better features and the thing I was wondering is, for the ladies who have had surgery have they gotten smaller? and if so was it by alot? Again I know it's probaly silly but it's just something I've been wondering about.

    17 and below

hey this my opion. I just turned 16 last month and I'm still being evaluated, I really have tried everything to loose weight and nothing has worked. I weigh 266 pounds and my doctor thinks it's really good idea to get the lap band. Me, personally I think it's better to have the surgery at this age because you heal easier when you're younger and the longer you go through life being obeist the worst it is on your physical and emotional health as well. So I think ti's great that you're going for it. I wish you good luck

Highest weight? or weight at surgery?

(gulp) I'm only 5 feet almost 5'1 and I weigh about 266 pounds and I'm so worried about saggy skin too, but my weight is contributed evenly and my I have good skin so hopefully that will help some. Sigh I'm still waiting on approval
  7. Ok so I'm only 16 years old and I way 266 pounds. I've been obeist my whole life but it's just getting worse. I've tried everything to lose weight but I just keep gaining pounds and the doctors say despite my weight I'm healthy but I can take being this size any more. I gained over 50 pounds over this past summer alone but I exercised every day and I was on a good diet. Its just no matter what I do nothing works. My doctors has already talked to me my parents about the lap band and told us to come back if we want to discuss it further and my parents have been talking about it too. I just want to be comfortable when i go out with my girlfriends and not have to worry about being made fun of. I want to be around boys with out being so shy. But most importantly I want to be a healthy size and to able to up a flight of stairs with out being out of breathe. I already know everything about the lap band I' ve researched so much. So should I have the lap band surgery?
