    Another Newbie

Hey there, Breeze! Congrats on considering this weightloss option to get healthy! This is a great website and you can learn a whole lot from very experienced banders! I have yet to have my surgery date (early March), but I have learned so much from this bored! I do recomend going to a local free seminar to learn more about how the procedure is performed and what you need to do to make it work for you. If I have learned anything, it is knowledge is power when it comes to being sucessful with this great tool!:cursing: -Meghan

    Losing patience

Mine seems actually a bit backwards... my insurance company didn't require the Psyc. Evalv., but my DOC did. So, my Psyc. Evalv. is scheduled a week and a half after the insurance has already approved me. Then, they have to get the results back, which can take up to a week, before they will even schedule my surgery. So, we are looking at about a month after insurance has already approved by the time I get a date. It is frustrating, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
  4. I submited mine on a Wednesday and by Monday, I was approved! My advice is to call the insurance company everyday! Keep your file on their desk!
  5. Try freezing the shake and eating it like ice cream- it takes longer to eat, so in a way it feels like you are eating more.
