It has been awhile since I have posted, I've been checking things out though. I am a costmetologist and was changing jobs but was working both places until my 2 weeks was up, then we went on vacation. then I was supposed to get my fill on the 16th but my husband's grandmother passed away it was out of town so we were out of town for another 3 days. My fill is rescheduled for July 2nd. I don't have any restriction right now, but I am not gaining any weight so that is good. I hope things are going good for you!

Yoga is a great idea! I was thinking about joining curves, but don't know if I am quite up to it yet. Maybe in another week. My 1st goal was to hit wonderland by the first of August, but I think I'll be there a lot sooner. I weighed this morning and was at 211. so I'm down 1 more lb since surgery for a total of 14 lbs. since surgery, but 18 for the whole journey.

Wow, that really bites!You are the one who started the whole May shout out thread. I didn't realize your date had changed. Well that is just 2 weeks away. That is my middle son's birthday. I'll keep you in my thoughts. Let me know how you are doing when you feel up to it.

I'm doing good. I have only lost 1 more pound this week compared to last week I was down 9. I am feeling great though, haven't been hungry but do find myself "wanting" to eat. The only time I'm sore is if I bend over to pick something up or something like that. How about you, how are you doing?

Hello, I had a BMI of 43 with no co morbidities. I am a bit older than you with a history of trying to lose weight only to gain it back over and over again. I don't know if that will matter because I have seen lots of young people on here that have been approved. Good luck to you and let me know how it goes.

I'm so glad to hear you are staying optimistic! It is pretty easy while the wait is coming off. I've lost 7lbs as of today. YAY!

I understand the queasiness I was pulling of the tape on my incisions and it was sticking to my staples, I had to stop what I was doing and lay down for a minute.

I am just eating Campbell's. Yesterday I had tomato. I like most of their creamed soups in recipes, but I have never had them by themselves. Today I am going to try cream of mushroom. Others I will be trying is Cream of broccoli and cream of onion. They have others that I have never heard of before like, cream of shrimp, asparagus, and celery. I add unflavored protein powder to these and it's an easy way to get my protein in!

I am so sorry to hear that it took you forever to get your surgery in. That would have drove me crazy! It was bad enough just having to get there 2 hours early and wait. It is great that your husband is so supportive that really helps alot! How are you doing? I've been a little better each day, and I would have to say head hunger has been the worst for me! I'm not really hungry I just want to eat! I am doing better today. I can have a little more variety and am able to add thinned cream soups to my diet today that will help alot!

I am doing pretty well only sore around my port which is about 2" under my breast bone. It makes it difficult to get in and out of a chair, and take deep breaths. I would not want to have dry heaves or throw up ( I don't think I would be able to handle it!!!) Yikes, I so sorry you had to go through that!!! I slept in a recliner last night and probably will do so again to night. A heating pad on my abdomen has also helped alot. No shoulder gas pain, but lower, it is still pain full especially if it's a burp. Love the pain meds and I'm not ashamed to take them!!!

I am on liquids only today (pre-op) and I'm starving. It may be mental but I don't think so. I didn't sleep last night do to nerves. I think it is normal to be nervous and have doubts but I know we can do this! Good Luck to us!

10 more days! The count down begins!

I have gone from excited, depressed, scared, back to excited again. Excited because I am ready, depressed and scared because I am afraid I am really going to miss food, scared because I might fail ect. But I know we can do this, and i am so excited!!! How are things going for you? Are you doing a preop diet?
