Glad to hear that you are on this journey as well!! My surgeon will be submitting to ins. next week....then I wait! I'm already so anxious! We are hoping for an early April date!! I am having surgery in Blue Earth..south of Mankato. I want to lose at least 75 pounds..85 would put me in the normal weight range, but I can't imagine that weight!!! Stay in touch...I would love to know how this is going for you!

I am awaiting a surgery date...hoping I am approved! I have thought about this for a long time and am so ready! I have done all the required steps...6 months worth for me! Call your ins co and ask if they cover then find your BMI! Then research! You can't know too much!! Good luck!

3 weeks til we will submit to ins. God I hope I'm approved! The waiting is the worst right now! I'm slowly losing on my own but SO need the band to learn Portion Control and to be able to keep the weight off! How did you know what shakes to use to start your liquid on your own?
