    February 2019 weight loss buds

Gaby. You will do just fine. When you get there things happen quickly so it will be over before you know it I meant to say the liquid diet the first day. Then they realized I was diabetes snd 500 calories wasn't enough. Regardless I've lost 15 pounds in 6 days. Is that even possible?

    February 2019 weight loss buds

I am type 2, but on a lot of meds. Will be nice to be able to get off most of it. I'm definitely asking for xanax or something like that. Will let you all know how I do. Thanks for you encouragement.

    February 2019 weight loss buds

Gaby. You will do just fine. When you get there things happen quickly so it will be over before you know it I'm fretting over 2 weeks of no food. I've felt terrible on this diet. How have you handled the food aspect? Were you scared? Do you feel full?I'm also worried about taking pain medicine after surgery and getting sick. I'm on some pain medicine already due to several conditions and wondering how that will work? Worried my pain will be hard to manage. Dr said that could be a problem. Sorry to rant!

    February 2019 weight loss buds

Monday is coming and I'm terrified. I'm so honestly scared. I almost canceled last week. The pre-op diet was brutal as a diabetic. So, they switched me to a low cal diabetic diet. Good luck everyone. I will let you know how I do.

I haven't told anyone about my surgery

I'm so sorry that your family members have treated you with disrespect. My mom made a few comments when I was young about losing weight, although I was only maybe 15 pounds overweight, nonetheless it makes you feel less than. I have 2 adult children and to be honest I have worried about their weight. Neither is overweight, but I know the challenges I have faced and don't want them to ever go through that themselves. However, I would never comment negatively to either one. My so is a body builder, and that has worries, and my daughter has always been small. Maybe your family cares but has a shi*** way of showing. Anyway, do what is best for you and do not feel guilty not telling anyone. I have a lot to lose & really don't care who knows, but we all need to do what is best for our own self. Best of luck on your journey!😊

    Yogurt

Fage is good and you can control the sweetness, because it lets you incorporate the fruit.

    Very low again

I have both anxiety and depression. Celexa is a life saver for me. When I'm not on it I'm an emotional wreck. It has been a life saver.

    February 2019 weight loss buds

I had a horrible headache for a few days when I first started my pre-op. I hope it passes for you! 3 day left!! I know it will be hard after surgery, but there will be restriction then. I'm hoping to get it all over with and get on the road to health. I have lots of medical issues. I saw my primary care Dr yesterday and she said, now we can get you off most of your meds.

    Birth Control??

Yes. I took a nursing class and they talked about birth control. They said you need to use another form for awhile. Probably best to ask a ob/gyn.

Good luck on your surgery tomorrow! You will do great!
  18. Hi! I'm almost 54 and having surgery on Monday. I have diabetes, and a whole list of ailments to go along with that. I've been told you will not feel the best afterwards, but will 100% not regret this surgery. I say what do you have to lose? Lol. Good luck!

    Artificial Sweeteners

I absolutely hate artificial sweeteners. They taste horrible and most are way, way to sweet. I don't really like sweet beverages only slightly sweetened. Therefore, I will use honey very sparingly, if at all.

    Snoring and sleep apnea

I have sleep apnea and was diagnosed over 1w years ago. I can't sleep without my machine. I wake up gasping for air. I'm not sure what my future holds with sleep apnea. I hope it goes away and/or lessens. I have terrible bags under my eyes caused from it. My suggestion to you is to run it by your Dr. Duribg surgery they will protect your airway by intubation. Maybe they can give you oxygen after surgery so as to not having to have a sleep study? But, I agree with everyone else, call your Dr tomorrow to find out. Good luck! My surgery is this coming Monday. 😝
  21. Hope you are feeling better now!
