    hi angie, im ashley. My surgery is the day before yours. the 3ed. Im so nervous...are you??? Man it's crazy it's finally with in reach ya know. I hope i get really good results b/c if i dont Ima be so mad!! lol where are you from?

    I was wondering what you guys are eating after the surgery? Do you gotta count calories?? Cause when I cook It's like Chicken mashed potatoes and peas or corn or green beans. Would I need to make myself something else?? Or just eat smaller amounts like a saucer size serving??? Or if we have pizza?? Should I just eat like 1 piece instead of 4 or Can i not eat pizza at all???? I know the first month is basically just liquids but after all that....Just tell me what you eat. Thanks Ashley

    Was anyone else in pain after the surgery??? Pain from the insicion or just all over hurt? Also how bad and big are the scars from lariscopoic surgery. Having a hard time spelling these words...lol

    i still can't find the voting poll idk where to look. I like Curvy Clovers!!!! Wouldn't work for a guy though..unless he was curvy! lol Having my surgery march 3ed. Just found out yesterday. And I gotta do Carnation instant breakfast 4 times a day and one actually meal 1 time a day Starting the 24th of this month!! Any one had this carnation instant breakfast stuff?????

    wow this is intense. I'm so sorry you guys are going through all these problems. I have my surgery on the 3ed of March and I am def. aware of the problems that can happen. I hope everything go's ok with your surgeries. My prayers are with you!

    Hi there I couldn't find where to go to vote for the name?? I'm so excited I just found out today it's gonna be on the 3ed or 10th of March!!!! Yayayaya:thumbup: So thrilled, i've noticed people already have lost weight and they haven't been banded yet??? Is this b/c of the pre op diet? Can you tell me a little bit about the diet my surgeon is suposed to e-mail me the diet plan and wants me on it for 2 weeks prior to my surgery!!! Is it just liquids or what?? Any suggestions woudl be helpful! thanks

    Tricare Prime and Lap Band

    i have tricare prime..and I didn't have any problems getting approved. No one even told me I could be denied! I just went to my pcm said I wanted to look into the surgery and she refered me and then like a month later I went and had all the stuff done I needed to do ...lab work, psyc, nutrition class, 2 wlsg meetings, Galbladder scan. and an eeg. After that I was put on the waiting list, and im stil waiting!!! It's for ever sometimes depending on where your stationed if your in the military I was at fort gordon and there was no waiting list, now at fort Bliss the waiting list is 9 month's to a year! Sucks so bad, but nothing we can do but wait!! Good luck with your journey! Ashley

    Well Me and my husband have done it a few times this way and prolly 3 outta 5 times it was awesome!!!!! I really like anal, if I can relax enough for it to happen. If you can't relax then it hurts badly!!!!!! And feels like your pooping the biggest BM you've ever had!! lol But it's something to try if you with someone you really are comfortable with and can have fun with it. Ashley

    haha thanks..i think he's a cutie too. He's my boy. I'm so excited about getting this band. I was on the waiting list for Gastric Bypass but i changed my mind. Something makes me feel uneasy about it. So i think the band is the way to go for me. I dont have really any fear of it.

    Hi everyone. I am currently on the waiting list for gastric bypass but I'm switching to the lap band. I have no medical problem beside being obese. I feel as though getting the gastric bypass would be more for my vanity then anything else. The lap band makes me feel more comfortable like it's going to help me control my eating. And I was wanting to hear from people who have had it. What is it like? Can you feel your port? Does it hurt when they fill the port every month or how ever often they fill it??? Can your husband fill your port? How much weight are people loosing? And how fast are you loosing it? Any complications people have suffered?? I know it's quite a few questions...but I need knowledge!! I'm 22yrs old 5ft and 217lbs. BMI of 42.2 Thanks so much Ashley

    I agree with ya on this. I am 5ft and 217 right now im waiting on my band..I have no health problems other then being obese. And with my hight I am obese. I'm having the surgery to loose the weight and keep it off!!!!

    I've been hearing about this preop diet...could someone fill me in on what you have to do on this diet and why your liver needs to shrink??? Thanks Ashley
