  1. So some of you may have read I got really sick and have been nauseous for over a week and have been in pain.

    The doc at first thought it was low blood sugar then I got worse. Now they are saying the opening of my new stomach is closing and needs to be stretched asap! Also it can take more than once to make it open back up. So to do this they will need to do an endoscope. I wish they told me this could happen. I'm almost two months out and somewhat wishing I didn't do this surgery...

    So sorry sara.. I'm not familiar with your storie, what's going on,


  2. Me to vicki. im still at 39lbs n i'm 8wks out. I haven't lost any in a week ago Friday..i've ate good all last week or at least I think I did. Avg 650cal. Carbs under 70 and Protein almost up, at 60 it needs to be higher. I'm just not drinking enough. I try n at the end of day its never higher than 45-50oz.

    I did eat bad yesterday, I ate Chinese butt no rice, Wat I ate wasnt bad it was the amount. But i'm back on track today, n even tho i'm on the way to smokey mtns. I'm gonna eat right, or at least i'm gonna try my best. N we got a indoor pool and I told my daughter we are still doing Water arobics.

    I know kinsee it is not as easy as i thought it would be, a little discouraging to say the least...If I knew i would lose it i could sit back a wait, but not knowing if its coming off or not is driving me crazy!


  3. It took me almost 5 months to try caffeine again... but once I did, I became hooked! Even more so then before surgery. I would find myself drinking coffee Water and Protein all day and not eating!! I am still like that on certain days... so I am currently working on backing off of the caffeine.. I think it has slowed my weight loss down.. and I just keep trying to tell myself that coffee makes me fat.. as im sipping on a cup right now... lol its a hard one for me to cut out... but I def think that if you havn't picked it back up... don't! I wish I wouldn't have anyways.

I wish I wouldn't have anyways.

    why would caffiene make you fat?


  4. Per my program I'm supposed to get 80 a day divided out approx 20 grams 4 times a day. HOWEVER, like you said, some docs push an ultra low carb diet....

    HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198

    thanks soccermom..you are losing without a doubt, so I feel better about that..I can't even imagine eating less carbs than I'm eating now..I think I would lose whatever mind I have left..lol

  6. How many carbs are considered low ...I saw so one post they weren't supposed to have more than 30?? I eat about 70 or 80!! Eeek!!! Are we supposed to be in ketosis? Is this why I'm losing so slow? Can anyone help me out here...also, what's up with 6 months and slower wt loss??

    I need wt loss surgery college!


  7. How many carbs are considered low ...I saw so one post they weren't supposed to have more than 30?? I eat about 70 or 80!! Eeek!!! Are we supposed to be in ketosis? Is this why I'm losing so slow? Can anyone help me out here...also, what's up with 6 months and slower wt loss??
