Hey- thanks for your response to my blog. I was banded on Jan 22 2009- I exercise everyday. Normally I run 2 miles on the treadmill every other day. I also am intot he Jillian Michales workout. She is insane but worth the pain. If I am not in the mood for either I sit on my workout ball with 5 lbs weights and do something- sit up or just arms.
I have thus far lost about 50 lbs. On average about 15-18 lbs a month.
in bewtween my meals I noramlly do a protein drink like Nectar- Ice Tea or Roadside Lemonade. that helps with my energy and my stamina for workouts. I drink one 30 mintues before working out and then right after- that is when the body takes in the most portien.
But let me know if you have any other questions. I am super disciplines with this stuff and really careful with my food. But i have found the joy in working out when i try on new clothes!!

Hey All! 6 weeks after banding and down 35 lbs...just ran my fastest mile today of 10:11... whooo hooo!!! I also recently picked up 35 lbs at the gym and that was an eye opener... holding the weight you have lost and struggling is a surreal feeling... if your able to life yet.. try... even just 10 lbs will open your eye to the possibilities that are before you. Keep it up everyone!
