Hi all l have lost 5st with a band done by shaw somers, l have been at 11 st 9 for a couple years, would love to loose another st, tend to have lots carbs, is this where l am going wrong ? I do have good restriction, am almost at the top of how much my band will take, look forward to hearing from you Wendy, Would l do it again, like a shot. Xx

Thank you for your replys, l have just lost my way a bit, it's true you do crave carbs. I certainly do, will now change to high protein, would cheese be an unhealthy option ?

Hi I also suffer with reflux, and know what you mean, l have to not eat to late, avoid certain foods ,l brought one of those v pillows which has been very helpful keeps my head up, try it, Xx

Well it was a bit of a shock to me,l wrote asking what type of band had l had fitted was told l had a 10cc at the time of opp. Received my letter back saying the type and size 8cc? Which as you can imagine, threw me 2cc less than l had thought, might re ask. Thankyou Wendy

hi thankyou for your reply, thats what happened to me l had terrible reflux at night, had an emergency defill of 0.5ml symptons dissapeared staight away, have since had two fills of 0.25ml each, the reflux did start again has settled a little always in the background l cannot eat at night or l will be up, my surgeon wondered if its slippage l hope not , l wouldnt do as well as l am at the moment would l thankyou wendy

hi l would be very interested in what are the signs of slippage, l have had problems with my band suddenly tightening for no reason hope you can reply to me here in the uk thankyou wendy

hi julie found you after a lot of looking and reregistering, you will be fine your story is like so many of us, what your going through is what we all went through, am l doing the right thing l had doubts walking down to theatre, and when laying there, but today its been the best thing l ever did take care wendy x:thumbup:
