Ok so I have been going through everyones blogs and feeling a little worried...some of you was talkin about a stretched band and now i am worried that i may have one...the reason i think this is because some of you were talkin about drinking coke and that can do it...well i drink diet mountain dew at least once a day...i know that is awful:bored:...and i am ashamed because i knew what i was getting into when i had the lap band and now its like i cant control myself...i am going to try my hardest to stick with water and not buy any more sodas...Another thing is that i eat what i want...i notice i eat less but i do eat bread and whatever else i like...i am so nervouis right now and very disappointed with myself...please if u have ne comments, send me a message!:thumbup::):ohmy:


  2. Hi! I am 3 months post lap band and feeling a little discouraged...I have lost a total of 25 pounds which doesnt seem alot because i lost like 18lbs two weeks after the surgery. That may sound stingy but i am just disappointed with myself right now. I have 4cc of saline in right now and dont feel much restriction at all...I am still snacking and just dont feel good about things...maybe the band didnt work, maybe im not strong enough to control my self from eating...i dont know but it seems like a lil much...can anyone relate? Please drop me a line if so!:)


  3. Ok so I am new to all this and I hope Im writing under the right thing because I really need some help. I have never really ate healthy in my life and Im having probs tryna figure out what kinda meals to prepare that I can actually prepare...I am 22 and I go to college and I work. Mon thru Fri I dont get outta school and work until 5pm everyday. I am going to start working out at the YMCA and they close at 8pm. Im tryna think of things I can make quick and then have time to work out. Im use to only cooking box things and things out of the freezer, I know it sounds bad but all I have to cook for is me and my 2 year old daughter. Im just really stressed tryna figure out how I am going to maintain all this...please any advice from anyone that can relate!!!

  4. :confused:So, Im new to this and dont really know how this works...Im really needing some people that have some things in common with me or that can some what help me through this. So I am 22 years old and had the lap band on Dec. 20, 08. I am down 15 pounds so far. I was in doubt with the surgery just a few days ago because I am so hungry. And I was thinking about all of the foods people say that I cant have and it just depresses me. I love breads and pasta but once I seen the scale go down, I feel a bit better. I am disappointed with myself though because I am on the liquid diet and I have ate some whole foods in very small portions. It is so tempting but I am working on it. I go to my doctor tomorrow and hopefully I dont get in trouble. At times I Feel I can do this but other times, it is alot. I worry about alot of things. If anyone can help me, please let me know. I am 5'6 and my starting weight was 275lbs. I am now down to 260lbs. Can anyone tell me about extra hanging skin or anything? I need someone to talk to! THanks
