How are you doing? I hope fine. I made it through the first week of pain but I feel better and back to work. I'm just getting my appetite back so I'm a little hungry this has been a long road for me. Hope you doin you good post back later.

First Night Home After Surgery

Congratulation on your surgery and hope you continue to feel better. I had my surgery on April 6 before surgery my blood sugar was 114 after surgery my blood sugar was 228 so the doctor order me a insulin to lower my blood sugar down. I had to stay in recover for several hours but I was release from the hospital that night. -
I had surgery on April 6 doing better and happy it's over with.:thumbup::thumbup::tt2::thumbup::tt2::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Ready for a new me.

When I first got approval I was exciting that I told everyone that I was having the lapband surgery. Two days before the surgery I thought I was going to lose my mine because I was scared. Just pray and ask god to relieve the fear from you that's what I did. I had surgery on Monday, April 6 and I'm fine. I was in pain but it's wasn't that bad.:sad: You will be all right go for it.:thumbup:

How are you doing? I haven't heard from you in a couple days. I hope everything is fine. I was banded on Monday and I'm glad its over with. I'm still in pain but not that much. My doctor ran into some complications doing my surgery with scar tissue be he said I will be fine I hope so. Stay in touch so I will no you are fine.

How are you doing? I hope fine. I was banded on Monday, April 6 and just start feeling fine on today. I hope you are doing ok. My surgery last longer than the doctor expected due to scar tissue but he said I will be fine. Keep me posted with surgery.
Thanks for you encouraging words last week because I was going to change my mind.

My surgery date is April 6th at 8:30 a.m. I have started my pre op diet and it's driving my crazy. I'm a little scared for some odd reason because I have had surgery before. I'm trying not to change my mind. Just a little confuse at this time.:biggrin:

I hope all your test come back fine. I will go on next Friday so they can take blood. I hope mine come out fine because I'm an anemia and sometime my blood count is low but I'm taking B12 tablets at this time so I hope it will work. Don't forget let's stay in touch!

I have Aetna Open Access and my bmi is 41.5 and I was approval within 4 business days. I was scared because of my last 2 years bmi. I guess Aetna didn't have a problem with it. Make sure to check with your HR to make sure that lapband is cover. If so you want have any problems long as your following Aetna requirements. Good luck:thumbup:

I call everyday when I found out my papers were submitted. Aetna approval on the fourth business day. I was very surprise to see how fast Aetna is working. My surgery date is April 6 I'm a little scared. I will start my pre-op diet on tomorrow. -
Please call and check on your status. My information was submitted on Thursday, March 12 and it was approval on Tuesday, March 17. I call on Friday, Monday, and call today. So don't be scared or nervous Aetna seems to be moving fast.
