I hit you up on facebook. I understand about not openly talking about it outside of here... I don't want people to know other that this community. I haven't gotten the surgery done yet, still in the works on insurance and such, but I'd like to pick at your head to get advice on how you got your success if you don't mind.

Hey Drew! I just saw your pics on the before and after thread. You're quite the inspiration. I'm getting banded in less than 10 hours (I can't sleep) and hope that I can have even half of the success that you've had. Great job!

Hey! I'm a Friday the 13th bandster as well and I thought I'd come by and see how you're holding up. Still having bad gas pains? I recently picked up some Gas-X and have been trying to walk it off. I keep getting assured, slowly but surely. I wish you the best in all your success!

So, how are you feeling? Band life all you thought it would be? :tongue2: I'm still having some gas discomfort, but definitely manageable. I hope it's treating you well. Did you take any pics of your incisions?

I, too, am back at work today. I'm feeling good. I am doing my best to not let anyone know I had any surgery so I'm pretending to not be in any pain and if I have to release gas I just go to the restroom. Is that TMI? Haha. Hope all goes well now that you're back at work.

Under 1200 Calories a Day and working out? Do you have enough energy to make it through the day and/or workouts?

Congratulations. Your surgery date is coming up real soon. I'm super excited for your surgery because I've never seen a SILS scar. I really hope you share your experience and pics. Good luck and keep us informed on your progress. Everything will be great!

Five weeks since I've been banded and I'm starving, haha. I'm in dyer need of a fill because I honestly feel like I can eat forever. I'm getting filled this Saturday and hoping that with it I'll drop weight quickly, again.

Thank you so much! I just had my surgery earlier today. The gas pains are stomach pains, I can feel. I think I need to use some pain killers. Thanks for checking up on me. I'm excited to start this journey.

Hey. I keep stumbling on your profile, apparently we have similar interest. Anyway, I was curious what's your stats/progress? When were you banded, how much did you weigh, where u at now and what's your ultimate goal? I'm a pretty active big guy. I want to do a half marathon this summer, maybe full by December. I would love to hear more about triathalon training.

So, how'd the surgery go? How's your recovery going?

I've been in a rut lately, but all in all I'm doing great! I've been under 300lbs for 2 weeks and have kept it off. That's including a vacation to Zion National Park, and a week vacation to New York City. I've been able to go out and travel maintain my weight (if not lose). Did I mention that I'm working completely unfilled? :-)
