So I'm officially a bandster!!!! And what a day! I was scheduled at 10:30 was told to be at the hospital at 8:30 didn't actually go under until 1:30 and wasn't released until 6:45 b/c I was so dehydrated I couldn't pee. However, my doc did say I was his best patient today b/c I did really well on my pre-op. He said my liver was so small he didn't even have to move it to put the band on and that saved him an additional 20 mins ( which explains the delay of why I wasn't seen for hours later) I'm in a little pain right now where the port is and i have some gas in my shoulders. All in all though this all so worth it so far! Oh and I lost 9 lbs on my pre-op! I'm feeling very proud of myself. I didn't cry a lot before like I thouht I was. I'll be honest I did tear up when my mother-in-law and hubby had to leave me..But after that i was good. How have you been?
