  1. I realize that you've been banded for a while, but my doc and nurse practitioner have told me that burping often was a sign of bring too tight...so is having to take longer than usual to finish a meal. Either you're a bit too tight now, or you're trying to consume a bit too much at one sitting.

I have had to have a tiny "unfill" because I started burping all the time and couldn't finish a properly sized meal in one sitting...and when I did...I vomited it right back up!

They only took out 0.25cc, but boy, what a difference!!

Certainly "Food" for thought! (Pun intended!)

    Good Luck!

  2. I will keep you in my prayers...

I am now down to 189...54 pounds from pre-op!

Yes...I am a Mary Kay Consultant in Rhode Island - although very few people "get" that I am! I LOVE these products although joined after only having tried the energizing leg and foot cream - white tube original version! My new favorite scented product is the Pineapple Body lotion/sugar scrub...mmmm smells good enough to eat!!

  3. I did lose a bit on the pre-op diet...my highest weight was the week after Thanksgiving at 242.8...at my last pre-op appointment I was 238...I am now 203.6...getting my second fill next Friday. I drank UNJURY Chicken Soup flavored protein powder in warm water...and used it to liquefy turkey and chicken - oh and shrimp too! I tried the Carnation SF Instant Breakfast that they had me drink in hospital, but that cause me to hvae so much gas...I guess I am lactose intolerant...so I switched to a GNC product sold in my local Rite Aid Pharmacy - it is made with Soy Protein - not regular milk products and did not cause me any distress. I got the Vanilla flavored powder and mixed it with Fat Free Lactose Free milk. I also made SF FF puddings.
