  1. I absolutely LOVE my Jillian Michael's game... it takes awhile to get the hand of it, but, once you do... WHAT A WORKOUT!!!

you have to pump arms hard and fast/shift weight back and forth fast and hard and be in sync just right or it doesn't work... took me a long time to get the hang... but, now, that I know how to get it working, it's great... I work up a huge sweat with it! Sorry some of you hated it...

I also have the Wii Trainer which is a great game too... no need for the fit if you don't have it... like having your own trainer/workout partner.

  2. I was filled yesterday and boy was I worried for NOTHING... it was a breeze... I hardly felt the stick of the local anesthesia... and felt NOTHING after that... easy pie!

I am on Clear Liquids until later today and can have shakes up until later tomorrow and then on to soft foods.. I soo hope this helps me feel fuller... I was in bandster hell for sure...

I only got 1cc... doc said didn't want to choke me off all at once and I go back March 24th... but, you better believe if I am eating too much, I will be back before that.

  3. Well, I am down 19.5 pounds since I started... however, right now I think I'm in Bandster Hell... I am sooo hungry. Hopefully I get a fill Thursday when I see the surgeon... I have been eating high Protein high Fiber and nothing is doing the job (for long anyway)

other than that... I feel great.

I was keeping to 1000 calories a day until the past 2-3 days... I have hit 1200 just because I'm so hungry!:tongue2:

  4. I love my Wii fit as well!!!

I have the Fitness Coach, but have not used it yet, maybe I will try tonight.

I also love the Jillian Michaels... it takes awhile to figure it out... if you don't do it just right and hard enough, it doesn't work... whew, what a workout for something different anyway.

Tip on the ski jump... squat down and lean slightly forward... try to keep your dot (in the upper right hand corner) as close as you can on the blue dot... as you go down the hill..

then right before before you hit the red line... STRAIGHTEN your legs quick, fast and hard... keep leaning forward trying to stay in the "blue dot area"... hold it, hold it, hold it~!!!!

This is my favorite!!! (I'm the best in my household and amogst friends)

  5. Hey, MB... yep, it was me next too you... sorry I didn't talk... I think were both preoccupied. I am doing petty good today besides sourness in my stomach as well, mostly on the right side... would be MUCH better if it would just go away.

I am not the slightes bit hungry either...

  6. I agree on Oprah... I wonder if she has ever considered the band. I always watch her show and no matter what, it's always the same with her... (how to do it). How many more times is she going to put herself through this?

Me, no more!! I've had it!! This is IT!!

  7. Our date is approaching fast... I am so scared of the surgery itself. Nothing else scares me, just the actual surgery. Going under is VERY scary to me. Knowing there are others going through the same exact thing on the same day is very comforting.

I can't wait til we are all talking about our experiences and reaping our rewards!

I will be on here until surgery and right after (as long as I feel good).

Welcome AK27... do you have the week off?

  8. exactly Minzx!!!

of course, I could manipulate it and just swing my arms, lean over instead of squating etc. But, I am making it work... if it gets too easy, I will have to do something else. But for now, I am getting my heart in the zone my excercise therapist wants me in and I know I was SOOOO sore the first few days! I am very out of shape too. It all depends on you.

Slinderella... yes, you can just go straight in to excercising if you want. More fun than the treadmill... that is for sure!

  9. oh, pudding does sound delicious right now... I am 9.5 days in and really feeling down and out... soooo tired. Anyone else? Last week I felt great (maybe because I was excercising?). This week I have NO energy whatsoever.

by the way... it is pretty sad when low fat low sodium chicken broth tastes like Heaven! My husband said it tasted like Water to him... oh it is soooo good.

Keep it up! We are doing it!!!! This will all be over soon. Alot of people say this is the hardest part of all.

  10. I absolutely love my Wii fit... I have the Jillian Michaels Wii game and usually bust my ass on it for 30 minutes and cool down with tennis. I sweat big time and get my heart rate up too... I wear my heart monitor to keep track which is another great tool.

  11. I am staying the night as well since I have a 3 hour drive home, doc wanted me to stay. However is an outpatient facility, so, I believe I will be out in 23 hours. I have the whole week off too to relax. I'm hoping to do a lot of reading, posting and chating on here for questions and support...

you are TOO lucky with your preop diet... mine is horrible but, right now I'm numb to it and finally on the downside of the preop....

    our day is fast approaching

    :)
