I was wondering about the weeks on the chart. Like, today is the fist weekday in May, and there are 5 Sat in May. How do I break that down into four weeks? I was going to try adding a week to May, but don't know how. Could you edit that Pete?

I feel like I am off the wagon. I have been eating way too much. And I am getting hungry too often. I tried to fix it yesterday. I had a shake for Breakfast and salad with chicken for lunch (with a big pack of reg ranch dressing:thumbdown:) and a shake for snack. I was so hungry when I got home I had two pieces of pizza and 4(very small) breadsticks, all dipped in more ranch dressing!!! Granted, it took me about 3-4 hours to eat it, and I went to be stuffed. Please be honest, I need tough love. Give it to me!!

Down to 236. That is 2 lbs in over two weeks. I am very upset. I am not eating right and need to get back on track.

I haven't posted in a few weeks with vaccation and everything, but for some strange and great reason I am still losing, despite Easter candy (which I was VERY good about but still indulged...). At the end of March I was sitting at 245 and am now down to 238. Ah- it has been a while since I was in the 30's. Still can't fit into 18's, but I KNOW I will get there by summer.
Confession- I tried to eat some of a Big Mac. After three very well chewed bites, the pain was incredible, and up came all that slimey burger. God bless my band.
I have read some of what other people eat- and can not fathom even being able to do it. I ate sandwiches at my mothers in Florida, and had trouble every time (although it helped it was rye bread). Sorry if this seems like bragging, but I have only had two fills and feel so good about what this band has done to my body. There are times I can eat more than I should, but it always gets balanced at some point.
Also, for anyone who wants to update their own info, if you cut and paste my How Low Can You Go Challenge by my signature into your own signature, you can access it and update it yourself when ever you what. I took mine from Pete.
Keep up the hard work everyone!!!!

Hi there, I don't know about where you all live, but here in Michigan we have a lot of deer. We have been eating Venison for the last 6 years, all hunted, natural and corn fed (reg grown corn- nothing added). The meat is VERY lean (I don't even have to drain the hamburger) and it tastes pretty good. I usually add some beef flavor to the burger, but the tenderloins are fantastic. I am interested in beefalo, but it is farmed- so probably has additives. But if you know someone who hunts, you could get them a permit and pay for the processing, which is still way cheaper then buying beef.

I admit, I am not really exercising. I have been sick lately, but I do plan on starting to walk now that the weather is nicer. But still, where does 50 lbs go? I am loosing on top more than anything. I plan on getting a wii fit soon, and I heard yoga is quite a workout. I will try that soon. I tried on some big 18's the other day, and got them buttoned- BARELY. I am so frustraded.

I had a bad week. 0 lbs lost. At least I reached my monthly goal. My goal for next month is 10 lbs.
-
I had pain, but it was hunger pain ironically enough. LOL.

What the heck? Although how they fit has changed, I am still wearing pants I wore before surgery. I am down 50 and should be in a smaller size.
My question to you gals, this is kind of personal, but I am 5'4 and 245 wearing size 20. For those with similar dementions, about what weight were you when you got into an 18, 16, 14, and 12?
My curves are everywhere by the way, hourglass shape.

What is your new addiction?
-
I have talked to a lot of people who have had weight loss surgery who warn me about a replacement addiction. I was just curious what most bandsters have taken on sice their banding (new behavior, not old).

I am three months out, and get severe back pain when I overeat. It lasts a couple hours and really sucks. Might not be the same thing, but I thought I would throw it out threre...
-
Seems Cali and I are keeping up with each other!!! I am down to 245, 50 down, 100 more to go. HEY, 1/3 of the weight gone. What a relief!

I called yesterday, and they said they think it is a virus, not the band, but I have to go in Monday if the problem is still going on. Last night was the worst- I thought I would die. I actually finally had "the runs" and was up most of the night. Still cramping this am though...

Hi,
I have not been feeling well all week, and for the past 4 days have had severe stomach and intestinal cramps (like when you have diarrhea) without the diarrhea though. I will be teaching my class or talking to someone, then double over in pain anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds. Sometimes it is only twice an hour, sometimes twice a minute.
What do you think?

I am down 2 lbs this week. It was getting close to the end of the week, and I did have some birthday cake for my little girls b-day. I never thought I would loose any this week. I am also enjoying being under 250. I lost weight before I got pregnant almost 5 years ago, and got down to 245. I can't WAIT to get under that mark. It is hard to believe it has been 5 years...

I am on a daily antacid- but sometimes I forget. I have had bad heartburn all day. How bad is it for my band to get heartburn?
-
Thanks for the input- I will try the clinical strength. Before it made me break out, but I will try it again. Maybe it will be different this time.

It is not about the fact you switched to mushies, it is about your body rebelling due to lack of calories. I know it is hard to get in more, try some extra Protein Drinks, more cottage cheese, try to get in at LEAST 1000 cals. I had the same problem and had to bump up to 1200 to loose weight. When I go for more than 5 days with less than 1000, I stop loosing again. If I eat more than 1500 I don't loose. I have to stay in between.
-
If I had to go back, the only difference would be I would get the surgery that shapes your stomach like a banana, more invasive then the band, less invastive then bypass. But I would get surgery of ANY type- and would have done it sooner!!!

Shrimp was on my recommended to eat lists, as was most seafood.
I only couldn't have gum for the first 6 weeks (during healing stage).
Why no gum for others?
-
Yes, this has been since surgery. I noticed I only last about 1/2 a day before I start smelling like a man. The smell has changed (not for the better) and is much stronger than ever before. I hate it. I currently use degree for woman, and have tried the secret platnum. They are about the same- 1/2 a day protection

Hey all,
So I don't know if this happens to everyone, but I need a better deoderant. Armpit odor has changes, but Mitchem (sp) cause breakouts, so I can't use that. Any suggestions for a GOOD womans underarm deoderant?

Well, I am down 4 lbs this week, which is awesome. I have to credit my fill (and the 24 hr liquid diet that followed) for at least 2 of those lbs. Keep up the good work everyone!!!

Yes, my willpower is definatly out to lunch so to speak. I probably need a fill, but I can only eat poorly at the end of the day. I still have trouble eating solids for breakfast. I hate to make it worse...I wish my band were looser in the morning and tighter at night. I am busy all day, then get home (am still busy) but thinking about food at night. I fight it with low cal food, but seem to eat more of it. Sigh. I know this is me. I have to take it easy today because I am going out to dinner and then chapperoning (sp?) our school prom, then drinks afterwards. I can't usually have more than 2 glasses of wine, so I am ok there. Just have to watch what I eat at dinner...
Thanks again- sorry for the ramble...
