Hi gillian, i dont think ul drop out its ur chance 2 get u back.. an if u do i think bigsister will drag u 2 the airport an we'll just fasten u 2 ur seat lol. the only thing thats on my mind is the anaesthetic.. and thats only cos of the way i am after it, i hope they use a different 1 an i'll b ok. I'm not worried bwt surgery at all. Lilykay seems 2 b doing amazing.. hope we r like that. enjoy ur panto (its behind u) X :biggrin:

Hi tc27, hope your feeling better after your dose ov flu, i ad touch ov man flu a few wks back now and lost 5 lbs in weight and kept it off :tongue: . Bet ul b looking forward 2 ur nxt xmas party.. ul b the 1 turning heads and all 4 the right reasons x

Welcome to the forum mizofatso, how long is your flight? is there a friend or member of your family who could go with you and could pay for themselves.. i dont know what its like in egypt and if you can get cheap flights into belguim, here we have budget airlines and are able to get cheap flights. Hi everyone i have just come back from clothes shopping for my daughter.. went 2 next and new look... av u seen the clothes? how nice r they. i was walking round saying im coming back for that..and that..and that..i cant wait 2 walk in2 those shops and buy what ever i want of the rail in slim peoples shops.. Hi bigsister im glad you have told your other half and he was ok.. u never know once he gets his head round it he might go with you and if not we can av the 3 wheelchairs in a row and 1 ov the daves pushing all 3 ov us and the other dave pulling the 3 cases.. how kind we are 2 these men. Bet your made up tho really, do u think your partner isnt happy cos you will be slim and mayb get male attention when your out and he will be jealous

Hi gillian, i think u, me and bigsis can do eachothers injections at the same time.. 123 throw, with our eyes closed of course.. should be a laugh if nothing else. I did hope i was going 2 go 1st BUT we can put our names in the hat and let dr chris pull em out. on a serious note.. what are you like after aving a anaesthetic cos im not brilliant, when i ad surgery last year..as a day case. I ended up staying in hospital cos my blood pressure went really low.. it knocked me about 4 a few days.. on the other hand other times iv been ok so i hope im going 2 be ok in belgium

Hi mmm why dont you email fredrik again and say if you dont hear from him with surgery date you will book through someone else.. im sure you will get a reply very quick, when i booked through europe surgery i ad a email and phone call the same day confirming a date we were both happy with, goodluck x :mad2:

Hi fox who done your injections once you got home? is it best they are done different sides (left side then right side alternative) or doesnt it really matter, my partner wont b able 2 do them so iv got 2 let gillian do mine the morn b4 we come home :blushing:. once were home the nurse is going 2 do them or i should say 'was' cos i dont think ill b able 2 drive..after reading ur msgs and i dont think i cud do them myself x

Hi gillian, yeh im fine just busy spending money i havnt really got.. but hey its christmas. im not going to be changing my money till last min and just hope its going to start picking up. I cant wait to go tho, i bought MY WEEKLY (magazine)today only cos its got a double page spread bwt gastric band.. havnt read it yet but should get i bit more info on it x

Hi fox, omg just read that bit bwt the flight home :tongue2: i think myself, gillian and bigsister will av 2 walk on 2 the plane all smiles so we dont av the same problems as you ad, they should be used 2 people flying home after surgery or mayb it was cos you were flying from london 2 glasgow and the air hostess didnt no what 2 do!!

Hi miss flump, im sure if you take strong painkillers you will be fine and im sure there will be people about at the airport that will help you if you ask.. dont try and be brave an make do, if you can get the help grab it with both hands.goodluck x

Hi gary, have you booked a date for surgery yet or are you going to be doing that at your consultation? Im getting banded on the 16th jan and have my consultation the day of the surgery in belgium, if you have your consultation over there you dont have to pay for it, good luck:smile:. Its ok gillian if i win the lottery i'll pay it for you, i'm not going 2 bother with the other insurance if anything goes wrong it goes wrong, i'll face that when and if. like you said the £ is crap, i hope it will pick up b4 our surgery..so i'm not changing any money yet. it will b worth every penny so try not 2 feel 2 guilty or selfish, its not just for u that ur doing it.. just think how much more energy u will have 2 play wiv ur boys, and b around 2 watch em grow up, keep ur chin up x
