  1. Thanks a bunch for replying. I know I am not alone in this. Now I just need my kids to chill.:sneaky:
  2. Here is the story for the last 2 months or so. So over the last 2 months, expecially the last 4 weeks, I have been eating way to much. A couple times to the point of being extremely uncomfortable. I have been eating to many slider foods. Right now.... I have 6 cc in a 14 cc band. I get up and have my coffee, my 2 eggs in the morning, a healthy choice meal or similar for lunch and I have no problems and everything is comfortable and I stay not hungry for a little while. So here is the weird thing. I cook dinner, I sit down with the fam and start to eat slow and try to eat very small bites etc. I eat untill I feel full, but it is not feeling full like normal, it comes on with no warning and I am just very uncomfortable. I stop immediately (which I have had to teach myself to do). I leave the table and think I am ok. But then, I start the slime and have to have a cup near by and then, I have to run to the bathroom, and about half of meal comes back up. I am not sure what to think of this. I thought that we were tighter in the morning, not at night. I am kind of lost on what to think now. I have made mistakes with my band and I want to make them right now. I want to be ok. I want to stop the slider foods. I want to stop the eating to much. I don't think I have stretched my pouch or band, it almost feels like I have done the opposite. Now one thing could be that I have 5 kids and dinner time is usually stressful. Maybe I am tensing up at supper time? Please, any feedback would be so appreciated! thanks so much.
  3. Name: Becky Band date: 12/16/08 Weight lost pre-op: (on the pre-opdiet)20 Weight lost since banding: +3 Total weight lost: 17 Yup, I know those stats stink. I need to make it looks alot different.
  4. Thank you so much for your response. I have been to quite a few OA meetings over the years and have even been on retreats and used to be with an online support group that was the non dieting approach to OA. I don't and cannot diet as the way society diets, with the ED. I really do believe that I can work with this band because of the intuitive eating approach. I bring the old OA books out at times and it really helps. Thanks for the reminder.
  5. This is so what I am in need of. Thanks for the hope!
  6. I guess slider foods can be different for everyone. I guess I just need to trial and error. Ouch, I hope your incisions are feeling better!
  7. Little Debbie snack cakes are sliders too, so I have figured out. grr Knowledge is power.
  8. Thanks for your encouragement. I have had ALOT of therapy over all this and most of the time I have a good grip of the reality of all this. It seems to slip away at times. It is fairly simple really. Eat to live.
  9. I say that because for some reason I forget. I had my first fill on friday. I am discouraged because , I don't know what I was expecting. Before surgery I felt so well educated, so gung ho, feeling so hopeful! I feel like my eating lately is worse then it was before the surgery. I feel like I can eat unlimited amounts of food. I am rarely hungry, but honestly I never really ate just when I was hungry. I used to eat just to eat. Before surgery my main demon to deal with was binge eating. I always said, that if I could eliminate the binges I would be just fine. At a younger age, I went through years of bulimia. The purging stopped in my early 20's but the binging never really stopped. Though there were periods when the binging was not so much of an issue. I really really need to work on the psychological aspect of this band. I so do not want to fail again. Thanks for listening to my rants.
  10. I can definately eat more then a cup of food. I don't get hungry for a while though. Probably 4-5 hours, but like I said I eating more then 1 cup of food. I am actually eating way more then I should. I know this is a tool for sure.
  11. I will remember that. It is amazing to me how educated I thought I was on all this and now it seems like my brain is mushing up about it.
  12. He said I could come back evey 2-3 weeks. I have made an appt for 2 weeks already.
  13. Ya. He says I have a 14 cc band. He put 3 cc in. So I am hoping it just is not enough.
  14. I had my first fill last friday, so it has been 2 days. My concern is I have NO restriction. I can take normal bites and I am not having any problems with getting stuck, or pb or anything. I would think that I would feel something different, but no. Well maybe I do feel full quicker, a little. Please help me understand.
  15. Congrats on the loss!!!! I had my first fill on the 23rd.
  16. As long as things are very cleaned up and there is ALot, and I repeat alot of clitoral and vaginal stimulation to relax things up a bit, it can be very erotic. But honestly, fingers and specific dildos for anal play is alot more enjoyable then a big ole penis.
  17. You are right!!! Yay! Yes it is hard...grrrrr Patience. Thanks for the encouragement.
  18. Nothing for me this week. :tongue2: 303.
  19. Our sex has not stepped up yet, but I am hoping it does soon. Congrats on the bedroom fun!
  20. What? Why?!!!
  21. I have not had jerky forever, I guess I will start eating it. Thanks!
