Realization is setting in. Started my 2 day pre-op today. Got all my chewable vitamins. Friday will be here before I know it.

Hi Callie. Welcome. I went to a Malley Seminar last June, but decided to have it done at KU. Surgery date is 4/10. I'm excited. Have a friend Michelle, who had it done at Malley and she is a walking advertisement. Continued success to you.

Glad to hear good reports from our lead off team. I had good news today at my pre-op, I only have to do 2 days of liquid before surgery. The bad news is the surgeon won't know if he can do my surgery until he gets in there. I will be devastated if I wake up and he couldn't do it.

I've been up & down all night. I go to my medical Dr. this am and have my pre-op at noon. Please send good vibes up at noon. Have an uneasy feeling and pray that all goes well.

I want to thank all of the Bunny Bandsters. I truly appreciate all of your posts. I spent the day reading threads. I went to my only seminar last June. It was somewhat informative, but I didn't like the clinic setting. In September I called Kansas University Hospital and found a surgeon. My appt. was in October, my pre-op is Thursday. There has been nothing in the middle. Boy do I have a list of questions. I'm anxiously looking forward to what will happen in the next 11 days.

I think that is one thing I am really going to miss eating this easter. I LOVE stale peeps sooooooo much. LOL Jen I second that emotion!!!!

Hello New Friends, My name is Judy, I'm 62 and single. I too have battled weight all my life. In 1974, lost 60 lbs in 6 months on WW in anticipation of my 10 yr reunion. Kept it off for years, then a breakup caused a relapse. Then slowly kept gaining. In 2001, I went on liquids for 14 months and lost 90 lbs. Found it!!!! I need major hernia surgery and they won't do it until I lose 130 & keep it off for 6 months. I had one knee replaced last year and need the other one done. Rehabilitation is so hard when you are obese. So that's down the road too. I've been a Jersey Girl all my life, until last April. I moved to Kansas to be with the love of my life. Who I met in Jersey back in 1968.

I'm not sure whether it was a blonde momemt or a senior moment, but my surgery is on "GOOD" Friday!!! I think that is a very good sign.
