  1. My instructions were nothing solid after midnight the day prior to fill. I just had my fourth fill a few days ago @ 3:30 p.m. and had coffee and Water only through the day until that time.

Post fill clear warm liquids for 24 hours then full warm liquids for another 24 hours then on to mushies for another 24 hours then solid foods as tolerated.

This usually jump starts me in my weight loss so that is motivating me to stick with it. So nice to lose a few pounds quickly.

  2. I have been dealing with back problems for almost 10 years -- in fact this injury is what caused my weight gain. My surgeon had me stop my celebrex prior to surgery and post surgery I have been okay with it although I can restart if I want to.

I have visited with my back doc and he says I can have my epidural steriod injections whenever I need them - no problem. So far I have been able to stave them off with yoga which I practice a couple of times a week -- works wonders.

Seems that one of the benefits of the weight loss is that hopefully we will eventually be able to get off these meds  Share your concerns with your doc -- dealing with chronic pain problems is really tough and it is scary to think about not being able to take meds if you need them.

    Good Luck!

  3. I had the exact same experience but on the left side. It definitely occured at the same time as the surgery. I have talked with my doctor -- he has no explaination? It doesn't really bother me other than feeling odd when I am touching the affected area. I am hoping it will resolve over time. Otherwise, I will go to a neurologist.

Sorry no answer but definitely experienced something similar.

  4. Hi - I'm Tonia

    46 year old

    Atlanta, Georgia area

CEO of a Real Estate / Development Company

Travel a lot with my company

    I am married - 10 years

I have a beautiful 22 year old daughter who is engaged to be married next September (providing that last needed bit of motivation)

I was never heavy until nine years ago when I had to take steroids following a minor car accident. Long story-- I just happened to be in a bad position when the car was hit. My body changed and then my life changed.

Surgery is scheduled for this Wednesday, Nov. 5th with Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. My sister is coming along and we are staying for a week of relaxation. I know if I come home I will be right back to work and want to take a few days to get my head around this new lifestyle without all the pressures.

I wish all of you the very best -
