I personally did not feel the need to tell my work anything other than I will be out for medical reasons, It is none of their business. I had my doctor fill out my paper work for FMLA and your doctor doesn't legally have to state the actual reason you need leave other than it is for medical reasons.

I will be getting surgery on May 11th. I get pretty excited every time I look at my fat belly and think about it shrinking. I have lost a huge amount of weight in the past and kind of know what to expect with baggy skin, Hair loss, etc. but I gained it back and am looking forward to a more permanent solution.
