  1. Took visiting grandaughter a couple of weekends ago. The park is about half finished and extremly crowded. Very long lines for everything. Please carry an ice chest for your lunch and drinks. Only a couple of restaurants open and they are very expensive. Were not very together yet.If you are

staying for the weekend please do not stay at the Ramada Inn. It was the only opening we could get, but we did have a good time on the strand and the other restaurants were great. I just don't think they should have opened the park until it was finished.

  2. PB means productive burp. When something comes back on you. I have'nt had a pb not saying I never will but I can tell you if you chew extermely well and don't try to eat things that you are not sure you can and to fast and to big a bite you probably won't. I might be able to have bread but I choose not to even try. The best to you.:grouphug:

  3. Mert, Welcome to lapband forum from another Houstonian. I can't ans. your insurane questions but this board has a wealth of info. My doctor took care of all my insurance needs. I never talked to them. Went to seminar in earlry April and had surgery on the 25th.All I can tell you is to keep after them because it sure is worth it. Not a miracle worker but it sure does help. Keep us posted.:grouphug:

  9. The man from Mexico has lost 200 pounds and has 770 to go. They have him on The Zone diet which is a Protein diet. Says he will continue with that unless he gets stuck and then will consider surgery. Says it was not only over eating it was also a hormonal problem.
