Hi Roxy, Thanks for the response today! I hope I didn't come across as a B****! I am on a pre-op diet and I quit my nicotine gum...so when I read that I had to respond. Thanks for your support. I didn't even want to put another banner up but my 15 year old daughter has a tablet for her PC and drew the Notorious Novembers Banner on her computer, so I felt obligated to her, she suprised me! She made it for everyone to use if they like!

I heard about muscle milk, it's supposed to taste good. The thing I hate the most is having to spend money on these huge jars of protein mixes to find out they taste like $%!# ! However I did go to my grocery store today and they had a protein drink there...they sold them individually thank goodness...I brought it home and tried it....and it was DELICIOUS! there was no protein drink taste to it at all! It was so good that i even made a thread about it, you must try it if you like mocha cappuccinos....it tastes EXACTLY like a mocha frappuccino from Starbucks. I am so happy I found something good. If you try it let me know its called..Bolthouse Farms Perfectly Protein Mocha Cappuccino I heard that you can get it at Wal-Mart.

Good for you! i'm glad you're sticking up for yourself! Whats interesting is that yesterday i callled TLBC to find out if my pre op tests got to them alright (bloodwork and ecg) and I wanted to ask them where my pre-op diet was....of course no one answered and I had to leave a message....they never called me back yet! I'm with you...I hope that this is not a precurser of things to come. Another interesting thing for me was that i had contacted a girl on this site from Edmonton and she told me that she had to fly to Toronto three times to get her fills done....I was assured by TBLC before i paid them my $2500.oo deposit that ther was one in Edmonton, and when the O.R. nurse called me on Wed. she even said there was a fill Dr. in Edmonton...either they recently just got a Dr. in Edmonton to do fills or they are just blowing smoke up my...you know what, or the girl from Edmonton is from CRAZY TOWN!!! LOL

Hi, Cappy, I'm on day 2 of this diet, i feel a little lightheaded today....I bought some protein drinks yesterday I wanted to try them out before the surgery. Thank goodness i did..there were a few dry heaves involved ( i'm glad i didn't try them when i had the band on). I've been drinking ensure...butter pecan, its no Dominoes pizza.....but at least i can handle it. It takes me a while to drink it....which is kind of a good thing, it prepares me for how i'm going to drink when i have the band...small sips. I hope your having luck on your pre-op diet. If you know of any good protein drinks please pass it along.

I started my liquid diet today! I started 3hrs ago...its going pretty good so far LOL!! How's day 2 of your diet going so far? Our surgeries are coming up soooo fast. How's the headache today? I hope your feeling better.

I can't wait until my surgery on the 20th.....but I CAN wait for the liquid diet that i start soonLOL!!! Are you on your liquid diet yet?

I loved reading about your experience at the TBLC Clinic....I am getting my surgery on the 20th of November with Dr. Yau as well. I hope mine goes as well as yours did....you look great!!!!

HI Jorja did you straighten everything out with TLBC? I recieved a call from the nurse today to ask me if I had any concerns. I went and had my bloodwork and ecg done as well. I hope to talk to you soon.

Hi Jorja, I booked my band date for the 20th, I fly in on the 19 and leaving late the 21st. Kathy at TLBC has booked me a room at the Super 8 and they are paying the cost of the hotel. They are sending me the "package" (binder+diet) and I should be getting it tomorrow. I hope this protien diet tastes ok since we have to live on it for 10 days pre and however long after the surgery.
