thanks hun. my surgeon jas just really been a bully about fills and my stomach doesnt handle big fills very well at all so im hoping that taking it slowly will be better.

how have YOU been doing?

things have been rough with me. i had a fill in april and in june i ended up in the ER with an overly tight band. they unfilled it completely and i havent had any restriction at all. i had a tiny fill yesterday (.6cc) and will be getting another next month. i have to start from scratch with smaller fills.

i hope youve been having better luck than i have!

lucky!!! i get my first fill (second fill i guess? i got 2 ccs in the band before it was placed around my stomach!) in the first week of April.

im on solid foods. ham, chicken, turkey, steamed veggies, low fat cheese and stuff.

oh girl i hear that! stepping on the scale is frustrating! do you have a date set yet for your first fill? and are you on solids yet?

not bad! lost 27 pounds in the last month. how are things with you?

im hanging in there! i havent lost any weight in the last week tho. a little discouraged. and i wont get my first fill for about a month.

but im trying to keep my chin up. i have a meeting with my surgeon tomorrow.

they kept me overnight. my surgery went really well, normal sized liver. for some reason my surgeon fit my band really snugly instead of loose which is the norm. so i have loads of restriction, which scared me a bit. anyways, im home now and in a lot lot lot of pain.

yep!!! NERVOUS BUT READY! how about you? what time is your surgery? i have to be at the hospital by 8:30 am.

having a shake an hour before bed takes away the hunger and cravings. hang in there! we are both kicking major butt!

only 4 days left now! unfortunately the hospital im going to doesnt do the surgery as an outpatient procedure so ill have to spend the night of the 25th in the hospital and go home the next day. not terribly happy about that but im alright. focusing on packing an overnight bag, ive got comfy pajamas, toothpaste, toothbrush, chapstick (dont forget to bring chapstick with you!) and stuff.

the diet is still going well. i started at 291 and im down to 276! that is crazy awesome!

im getting pretty nervous about surgery.
