What and how much documentation did you provide?

I am 4 years post-op and want to get a fill. I have lost about 85lbs and need to lose about another 50. Just wanted to know if any has had a fill this far out?

Hello Everybody, I have been gone a Loooooong time. I do miss you guys, I am just bad at responding. I have lost 62lb since being banded ( I did not realize that until just now) and I had a fill last Thursday that finally gave me restriction. I was beginning to think I would never get it. I am starting to learn what I can and can't eat. Before last Thursday I could eat what ever I wanted. Now things are getting stuck even when I chew chew chew and chew (except the things I shouldn't ie. chips or cookies). I am also having problems sleeping on my stomach. I wake up coughing bably, so I have to sleep on my back. Has anyone had this problem and will it go away?

Thank You Big Momma, I was banded on the 6th and was wondring the same thing because I was able to eat chuncky Soup (veg). You are right it is just a short time in the rest of our life and YES I CAN DO IT!!!!!

I am going to the nutritionist on Thursday to begin my pre-op diet. I can’t wait, because I am ready to start this new journey in my life. I will be banded on April 6 five days after my 40 birthday. I will begin a new era in a new way.

Hello, has anyone used any doctors in Greensboro, NC or has anyone one used any doctors from BCBS centers of excellence?

Hello all. I am at the very beginning of this new journey in my life. I have attended a seminar and a support group meeting. I will be turning in my paper work in next week. I know I have to lose about 30 lbs before I can get banded because my BMI is about 58 and my doctor will not do the surgery unless it is 50. I would like to know if there are any banders in Greensboro, NC that would like to buddy up with me.
