I got banded feb/09, I am so glad I did..I got my 3rd fill and I had to pass on the 4th, Since I was doing really well with the 3rd, I may go in the end of Aug to get my 4th fill..I will let ya know..But thanks so much for the compliment..You will see results before you know it

Hey Shelly, I got my 3rd fill yesterday, I am only able to eat like a cupful of food now,which i like very much I weigh 189 today..I am slowly gettin there, I was at a stand still..But I know its gonna get better with each fill and the way I eat..I am so proud of you, girl you are down to 181..That is amzing...how is your eatin habits going..? I know if I eat bread, it gets stuck, so umm no bread for me.. LOL...Oh yea, when i got my fill yesterday, it hurt alot. The Dr said cause I got the feelin comin back where here put my port in, he said like the first 1 or 2 fills there is scar tissue, so you dont feel the needle go n as much even though he numbs me first..But this time..I felt all of it...ouch!!, Did you have that prob yet?? Let me know how you are doing?? You look good in your pic btw..Your doing great...Hugs

That is great Cathy you have lost 55 pounds..I am soo proud of you..I hopefully will get there too..Its a slow process for me, but I just got my 3rd fill today, and I can def tell, only can eat a cupful of food right now..which i really like.. hehe...But keep me posted on your WLS, thks Sommer

I'm down from 217 to 179...I think my 3rd fill is the best..I cant hardly eat anything...So I am doing really well with my 3rd fill...Sounds like you are doing great...I want to lose 70 pounds too..What are you eating..How is your diet with foods...? Congrats get back with me..

I am doin better.I just still am sore mostly in the mornings.That is the worst part gettin to get movin around, but later on I feel better..I have been drinkin broth,jello and some hot tea..I am starting to feel hungry this 2 week liquid diet is a real pain..I know we are suppose to eat nothin, but I sure think some mashed potatoes sounds real good right now..lol..I think the walkin helps out alot..I got the chewable vitamins from gnc with calcium..They taste good and I got the liquid vitamins i mix them with water, they are ok..Well we are gonna be doing great here soon. When I try to burp it hurts alot, do you have that too? Well I am gonna sit back and drink some hot tea..Glad you are feelin better..Just think we are gonna have to go buy us some clothes here soon..woohooo...Hugs to ya...

Hi Cathy, I live in Mcdonough,GA..I got banded on Feb 26th at Southern Regional Hosptial.. I have lost a total of 40lbs since then and have had 2 fills...Where did you have your surgery? How much have lost? Thks Sommer
