  1. Don't freak out about having surgery in Mexico. I brought my Daughter today to INT hospital through the beliteweight web site.

Felt at ease from the moment we met the driver Alberto and the staff was amazing and so kind. Dr. Rodriguez Villerreal performed a wonderful surgery and we'll be going home in two day's. She's very excited to start her new life. I myself was banded 10/08/08, in America but I had the best insurance and paid nothing out of pocket. It would have cost her $17,500 plus aftercare by the same DR. I had. Here it cost $5,400 and well worth it.

    Good Luck!

  2. Hi,

Too many people don't give their body time to change, we want to loose it right away. I can tell you that I went through many plateaus before I realized these things that helped me. 1. I take liquid vitamins 2. Benafiber daily 3. Real Protein foods. 4. Soup as a meal (i love all kinds). If you like to make your own can I recommend SOUP OF THE EVENING...BEAUTIFUL SOUP Everybody's body is different, it's been a year and a half for me and I have kept my weight under 200 lbs which was my original goal but I am still glad that I had this done. I believe it saved my life and added years to it.

    Good luck and God Bless.

  3. I was banded with the realize band on 10/8/09 I had several fills but didn't feel restriction untill I got to 7 I really didnt loose much weight till I got to 8 cc's. Now I'm loosing 2 to 3 lbs per week. I started at 249 I now weigh 210. I'm exactly where I want to be. Don't let the doctor tell you how much he's going to give you, you tell him. I would get no less then 1 cc per month. GOD Bless and good luck.

  4. I was banded on 10/08/08 I was 249 pre-opp and 239 Band date. Today I am 223lbs. I've hit a platue for 2 months where I go from 222 to 228 I just had my 3rd fill and I am now 6cc's on a 7cc band. I now feel good restriction and never feel hungry, but you must get your Protein in. Be patient and keep the faith and PRAY it will happen. You didn't put it on over nite

  5. Missy123c,

My Doc explained the other day that because we lay down at night the Water which is normally in our legs is in our upper body giving the band a false sense of a larger fill. Therefor it's sometimes hard to eat in the morning until we level out. I'm at 3cc's on the realize band and I feel a little restriction but only in the morning.

    GOD Bless!

  6. I saw my surgeon yesterday for my first fill 3 cc's I told him about my visit to the hospital for pain in my right side. He said I still need some healing inside and should still take it easy for a while. When they put the port in it is stitched to your muscle, and the pain can travel till it heals. Be patient but if you feel there is a problem see the surgeon right away.

    GOD Bless,

    Marshall

  7. I was banded on 10/08/08 and two weeks after started having sharp pains in my lower right side. Today I ended up in the Hospital with what I thought was an appendicites attack. After hours of X-rays and a CT scan, they sent me home saying everything looks good it must be complications from you lap band surgery. It may be normal but it sure the hell hurt. I see the Doc on thursday for my first fill. I'll see what he say's and then I'll share it with you.

    GOD Bless:rolleyes2:

  8. Hi, my name is Marshall and I just had my surgery yesterday. I was worried about getting it, but it went fine. I'm a little sore but the staff and Doctor at the Barix center made me feel so comfortable I didn't even know when it happened. I remember nothing. My Wife had the Lapband last year and she has lost 65 lbs. and looks fantastic at 160 lbs.
