  1. I have Aenta Insurance. Yes, I had to do the 6 months diet before the surgery. Those 6 months are going to go by so fast. So don't fret about that. I actually waited a year. Once the 6 months past, I got an approval from Aetna within 2 days. I got sooooo nervous, that I kept putting it off.

  2. Hi Lori, just dropping in to see how you're doing since your surgery. I know we had our surgery on the same day and I hadn't heard from you since then. I've been doing quite well. I'm down about 20 pounds. I've moved to solids, sooner than my doctor advised me to, but I haven't had any problems thus far. Anyhoot, hope all is well. Take Care

  3. Hi Bimbabe..WOW..Ur down 20 already? My surgery was Wednesday. It went pretty smoothly. Only problem is this freakin GAS! OMG! It was so bad when I came out of surgery I stood in the middle of the recovery room and bust out crying. It was aweful. Last time I got on the scale, it showed a weight gain of 3 pounds. WTH?! I'm assuming that's all the fluids they pumped in me using the IV. I'm a little sore, nothing the meds can't knock. I can't wait to see some weight come off..Anyway, KIT..TTYL

  4. Hi Penny, How r you? I know all too well about the gas and shoulder pains. :eek:omg! I was banded on Wednesday 10.22. I never thought Gas Ex strips would become my bestfriend..lol..Anyway, good luck with your weight lost. LET'S GET IT GIRLS!

  5. Bimbabe, my surgery is tomorrow (10.22) at 11:30 am. I'm excited about it. Thankfully, I didn't have to do the two week liquid diet. I just dont think I would have made it. I'm having a hard time as we speak with the hunger break down. But, I'll survive.
