    3 Month Updates

    Ok Bunnies, it will be three months soon, how's everyone doing? It will be 3 months for me on the 2nd. Ive lost 45 lbs. I love that! I dont love my level of fitness it is seriously low. I swim once a week and other than that I havent been doing anything. So, Im now recommitting to working out somehow at least 2 more days per week. How about everyone else?
  2. Hi bunnies, I have been struggling for a couple of weeks. My brother passed away two weeks ago tomorrow. I immediately dropped all the rules and ate whatever I wanted. I felt fine until last night. My stomach was full and then I made the mistake of drinking water less than 30 min. after. I felt miserable until I fell asleep. I had just determined I would go back on liquids today and tomorrow, mushies Wednesday and Thursday, and back to solids Friday. I have an appt. for a fill next Friday. I was really needing that fill. Well I got on the scale yesterday and I was 218, not a lb. lost or gained, needless to say I was shocked. This morning I was 216! I ate really badly yesterday, although it wasn’t much it was all bad. This morning I drank a bottle of water on my way to work, nothing out of the ordinary. I noticed how full I was, like when I have a fresh fill. Then I drank a half muscle milk at breakfast time. It took me a half hour when I could normally (when needing a fill) can finish a whole on in that time. Now, Im sitting here w/my tuna (lunch) and Ive had 3 bites and Im full. Ive heard of stress making your band tighter (I certainly fit that bill - stressed). Im wondering though, if my band has slipped or Ive irritated my stomach with all the bad food. What do you think?

    Im going to keep my fill appt. as it's done under flouro. I think she would be able to see it like that if it's slipped.

    Thanks so much, this is my second sibling loss. I know Im stressed b/c this is the hardest thing ever. Thanks for the prayers, I know God will bring me through this also.

    feeling a bit of heartburn now after eating the tuna. That's unusual for me. I am due for my cycle Sunday. Ive heard people say they get tight at that time also. I just dont want to have messed things up for myself.

  9. I've noticed that on days when I don’t eat something until afternoon I get a stomach ache. I mean like my stomach hurts bad until I put something in it. Ive gotten into a pretty normal routine of starting my day w/a bottle of water and then about an hour later I eat something. On weekends sometimes I'm up and running and don’t eat until I notice that pain approaching. Anyone else having this issue? I guess it's kinda good b/c it works like a reminder to eat, but I wonder what exactly is causing the pain?

  12. Let me start by saying I have a realize band, so my fill amounts will probably be higher than those with a lap band. That being said, here goes: 1. WEIGHT- started 262/ current 225 2. FILLS - 1st. 5.5cc/ 2nd- 3 cc = 8.5 cc 3. RESTRICTION- Great. Might even be my sweet spot, we'll see as the weeks go on. 4. RULES- I'm doing very well on all fronts. I could use a tad more water though. 5. ANYTHING ELSE- I'm loving this journey!!
  13. I noticed a fill for the first few days but then that was it. I am noticing a big difference this time. I feel like Im eating too little. I just have no desire to eat. I am taking in my protein first and trying to do all the right things. I must admit, this time I really feel as though I've had wls. I'm hoping the scales feel the same. Just keep moving forward, the loss will pick up. The Couch to 5K thing sounds great. I need to join you. I really need to join you.

  15. Hey, Im doing well! I'm down 36 lbs. I go for my second fill Friday. I hope I get a little closer to my sweet spot, I can eat so much now. Thankfully, my weight loss hasnt slown down. How are you making out?

    Cookies!!

    I hate to say it, but I must confess...I ate Cookies today. I had not cheated at all before this. I ate two regular sized cookies from Mrs. Field's. A super chocolatey one and a chewy pecan one. I feel so bad for it. Boo me!:crying: However I did have an NSV today, I bought a 1x cardigan from Macy's instead of my old 3x. Yay me! :tongue2:Thanks for listening guys.

    First fills

    I had my first fill on May 15th. I was less restricted after that then I was before the fill. I go back for a second fill on June 12th. I hope this one works at least a little better.

    Non Scale Victories!

    I have a few, but I'll just share this one. I put my bras on the first prongs instead of the last ones! AND... I no longer have side boobage trying to pop out of the bras. Soon I'll have to get smaller bras.
  20. OMG I have been dealing with the same thing. I have only lost roughly 30 pounds and still have 102 to go!! My tiny co-worker and my teeny friend have both on more than one occasion cautioned me "dont get too small". Are you serious?? I dont see them trying to bulk up to my size, so why hate on me for trying to get down to their size?? Then one of them has the nerve to say, "everyone's not meant to be the same size." I'm like I know, I wasnt meant to be the same size as the other 230 lb. people. Why does it matter to them so much? I think like someone else said, in some strange way it makes them feel threatened.
  21. Yes, I feel totally normal. It took about 5 days to feel that way. Being on liquids is a constant reminder though that you aren't quite normal yet. It gets easier. Just be patient, how have you been feeling? Have you been able to get in much food (liquids)?
