  2. hi i have set an appt to go in to my dr. i have not been in a few months, i thought i was ready to do this for awhile on my own but oh no....i was not ready. im headed to the gym today after work today, there is a zumba class i have wanted to try so today is the day. this has been a fight for all of us im sure but just keep on moving.
  3. hey im still about 80lbs down, i have not WI in about a month....i was not eating healthy, got too comfy with the lighter me. i can feel it now so i knew it was time to get back on the boards and focus again. i do not want to be 345 again. im going to officially WI in thew morning and update my ticker to reflect the truth. i need to go join a challenge just to get back in the groove of things. keep up the good work!
  4. im still a long way away from PS thoughts but my arms need help, i saw the commercial for the shake weight, how is that working for you? im interested in getting it but wanted reviews on it first. congrats on the ps date:-)
  5. i would love to start this, i heard about it but i was much heavier and knew i was not ready to run. i am now. will this be the thread for updates
  6. i love her too. im doing the 5 mile now so imagine how much she talks there. even though its WATP i burn 700 calories so its a great workout. walking seemed to work best form to drop the pounds so i decided to go back to the basics for awhile just to switch up the workout.
  7. I FIGURED IT WAS TIME FOR AN UPDATE pants I was SZ 28 now I'm a SZ 16/18 tops I was SZ 3X now I'm a XL-some stores i will buy 1X i know some of us are struggling but focus on some of the good things that has happened too. the capris i wore to my sons b-day party last year before LB, i can now get into one leg. im happy about that and i hope to never be able to fit them again. so....how is everyone doing NSV
  8. im so glad we are posting more, it seems alot of us are having similar issues. i too am able to eat around the band when i choose too. this really is a lifetime journey. im glad everyone is being so open and honest and honest about our issues.
  9. im all for trying anything to stay motivated as a group. i have taken up walking again. i have not been doing weight training though, i know i need to work on my arms. i have been walking at least 3 miles and i love it. i think after i turn exercise into a habit again i will start back at the gym again. im still working to hit the 100lb mark.
  10. great job, you look great
  11. im not sure if you both are still doing this but i want to jump in as well. i too was doing great in the beginning and it did not seem like a chore either. i use to love to exercise but now its a different story, i have to force myself to do it. so i think its a great idea to get back to the basics. im even thinking about going back to liquids for a couple of days to just get my focus back.
  12. 90lbs gone for me, wanted 100, love 90 all the same congrats losers
  13. im a little over a year out and this helped me.....thanks for posting
  14. hey im still here. i agree we do need to start back communicating more....i need my july banders lol. im trying to refocus too. i've lost quite a bit of weight but i still have a long journey ahead of me. i know there are alot others still out there and we have to find a way to get our month back active again.
  15. barbie i need to get back on my working out too. i want to try the zumba classes they offer them now at my gym. im at 8cc now and im pretty much at my sweet spot, i could stand to have a bit more but im comfy with the amount i can eat right now. i have not checked my inches in a few months so im going to do that asap too see where i am now. i must be losing inches i cant believe i got in that sz 16, lol. congrats on your loss
  16. thank you lisa......i love the changes and i have always LIKED to shop but now i LOVE going to get new stuff. im no longer in the 20's, i actually was able to get into a SZ 16 lol imagine that. i have a pair of 28s that im not giving up. about a month ago i put them on and they fell right off. so i put myself in just one leg and started hopping around i was so happy. ok, so my 1 year was 7/23, i didnt lose 100lbs like i wanted but 90lbs is nothing to be sad about. im still happy...too happy...i need to focus again lol. i dont want to get too comfy and start back packing the pounds on. this is the longest i have EVER been able to keep weight off. im going to NY for labor day, now that the tickets are bought thats my trigger to get it together. i was there last for my MIL b-day so it will be interesting to see if anybody notices anything lol. july is almost over and i know not many of us posted our progress but i hope you other july bandsters are safe and having success.
  17. GREAT JOB....congrats on the walk and the weight loss
  18. hi went to try on a sz 20 in shorts (they were kinds short so i wanted a lil more room). anyway went to the dressing room tried them on, liked it. took them off & glanced at the tag it was a sz 16. my first time getting in a sz 16 since high school. well of course i was happy but didnt buy them, went with a shorter pair instead. yea
  19. this is just what i needed to read congrats on the new you
  20. hey amy you are so right a pounsd lost is a pound healthier. i think i have been too busy enjoying this new weight loss that i just got caught up in it all. i honestly cant remember being in the 250s so im enjoying it...a little too much. i need to get back on track too because 250 was not my goal weight when i started. its good but not good enough to truly enjoy life.
  21. count me in for 20lbs by labor day.....going to NY for labor day so would love to be lighter for all the extra walking
  22. hey one thing i can say is that i definitely struggle. im here right now because i have my nieces here and they wanted donuts. so i got them of course and i knew i had to come here to keep from eating them. i know we all struggle and although i have lost a good amount of weight im still not where i want or should be. i look at other people SW and i think how i wish that could have been my SW. i have to agree with lisa though, had i been on any other diet im sure i would have gained it all back by now. i try to look at it like that too. i started a 28 now i can get in 20s and some 18s. i would love for us to be that great support system we were in the beginning. most of us were here everyday counting down the days to our new life. lets just try to see the positives in our loss thus far and support each other more than we have been.
