  1. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I haven't lost weight since this summer. I didn't work out or watch what I was eating in Nov or Dec. so I know why I didn't loose weight those months. So this month I have been watching what I eat. I haven't been working our so maybe I need to start doing that....I have the bodybugg. Which I have been hitting a calorie deficiency of at least 1000 cals a day. I have been eating about 1000-1200 cals a day and burning at least 2200 a day. I getting my Protein in. And I haven't lost a pound.

  2. She pretty much just showed me around the site. It only lasted half an hour. I am glad I did it. But I hadn't done a lot of looking around on the site because I knew I was going to get the phone coaching.

If you have the time to spare I would do it. Just to make sure you are getting to take advantage of all the things available.

One thing she showed me that really opened my eyes was where it takes how many calories you burned and how much weight you lost (for the week) and shows you how many calories (on average) you probably really ate during the day. I only lost a pound this week so it showed me I really have to be careful with putting my calories in.

  3. I got mine at costco.com for 179. with the 12 month activaion. I am not a member of costco so i had to pay nine dollars extra plus 11 for tax so I ended up spending 200 for mine! This deal ends at the end of the month. they do have some good deals!

  4. I've had Mirena for about 9 months. Insertion really hurt...like "mild" labor, she said (how would I know, never had a kids, but MAN>>>). Periods much lighter with fewer cramps until I got the band. I've had the band for a month now and have been bleeding for nearly two weeks of that. I don't get it.

    sara

I GUARANTEE you that it felt nothing like a "mild labor".

  5. when i had mine inserted i didn't feel anything other then a regular exam but after it was put in I went to Walmart and it felt like something was poking me for a day or two. but now i don't feel anything. My doctor told me i don't need to check my string and she said she cut them short. I have had it for a about two and half years (can't believe my baby is that old!) and i have never checked it.

  6. I have the basic

I had a BMI over 40 i think it was 43. I didn't have to do any special diet before to be approved and after my psych eval i was approved in like three days. I had to pay a 100 dollar copay for the surgeon. there was a co-surgeon but she didn't count. So I just had to pay the 100. Although i did stay over night because my hospital was too far way my doc wanted me to stay over night. if i hadn't been an inpaitent i would have had to pay for the supplies in the operating room including the band. So since it was inpaitent i only paid the copay. i don't remember where I saw this in the book. its tricky to find and i had to show the insurace people at my hospital because they had never came across it. i think it was like in with the general surgery info.

  7. I have BCBS of IL my husband works for the Post Office so I can't remember if it was different or not (its amazing how much you forget after you have had your surgery) But anyway here is just some FYI that you will have to check into...If I was doing outpatient surgery I was going to have to pay for all the medical supplies during surgery but if it was outpatient I would just pay my $100 copay. I had mine done in Indy since that was so far away the doc wanted me to stay the night so tada inpatient. And all of my fills are $100 just a heads up (ouch I didn't know that when I had the surgery and it stops me from getting fills sometimes.)

I didn't have to do a 5 year or 6 month diet. I met the requirements and was approved a week later.

  8. I was banded on Jan 28th and I have lost 46 lbs. I get about 1000-1200 cals a day. I eat about a cup of food at each sitting. This summer i was HORRIBLE at watching what I ate but i did work out about five days a week (walking three days Water aerobics two days) So over the summer I only lost four pounds. This week I have been trying to get back on track and really watch what I am eating. I don't feel like I need a fill because I can eat a cup of food and it will keep me satisfied for a few hours.

  9. I am surprised to see so many of you say you PB at least once a week or so. I have NEVER PB and I THINK I have been stuck before (felt like something was kinda stuck in my chest but it was very short lived) I don't take small bits and I don't chew chew. I asked my doctor about not PB'ing or getting stuck and she said thats a good thing....I am not to tight. So I guess I don't understand why you guys do have those problems and I don't.

  10. Since its Saturday I can't call the doctor but I thought I would ask here first. Today I was just thinking about my surgery and went to find my port. It use to be right on my incision. Now its about an inch and half above it. I have no pain and its not bothering me. I have been doing ab exercises and noticed Thursday night they were starting to become easier.

So I know its attached to my muscle I was just wondering if it moved because my muscles are tightening up?

  11. I am a member of Babyfit. where i talk to moms who had babies the same month as me. and we are all real supportive and friends. so when i started WW a couple of years ago i got on the WW board and they were HORRIBLE. i posted once about something and all i got was mean responses too. so i never posted there again.

its weird that it is that way because although i am not "close" with anyone on these boards i have found everyone on to be nice and supportive like my babyfit board.

  12. Well this makes me feel even better that we are all around thirty pounds gone or so. Makes me think I am doing something right if you all are at the same spot as me. I am nine pounds away from onederland and i hope to be there by the end of the month!
