The one thing I DID do which helped me out (and dangit for not having done it all along) was got my before measurements from my doc's office when I went for my fill yesterday. Granted, they don't measure all the stuff I do, but I got the basics -- hips, waist, bust, arms, legs, neck. By adding those numbers to my start measurements, and then taking another set yesterday, I am down 53.25 inches -- 3/4 of an inch from 4 1/2 FEET!! And I don't miss even a centimeter of any of it. So there! :smile2:

HEHEHEHE, well I hadn't thought about it before, but I sure am NOW! Though for us it would probably be as worthwhile to do one a month since we don't lose as much per week as they do.

43% Pay NO Federal Income Tax - ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
The problem, Terri, is BJean tosses out information as "fact" yet has nothing factual to back up her claims. That is where plain and I take issue -- if these things were listed as her opinion, that is one thing. But she claims that these are facts yet provides no proof of these "facts." Once you put something out as a fact, you are, in essence, debating the opposing side. The least she owes when she claims something as fact is to back it up with proof. Now, if she wants to say she "believes" these things are working for the economy, it puts it in a whole nuther ball game. Then she can choose to explain why she believes this. Obviously she can also choose to not back up her "factual claims" with proof as well, but it diminishes her stand, imo.

I'd say if legitimate data exists that proves that what is happening is good and/or working, she would want to share it here. She can PM you if you wish, but I would also ask her to provide proof for her claims here as well.

They don't exist. These claims are all based on "hope." :smile2:

I've thought that too. The stress fracture that Laura (?) got, and then when Mike couldn't run the marathon because of his hip. I was honestly worried he had also gotten a stress fracture. That's a LOT of weight to be putting on those bones and joints, and it's multiplied tremendously when there is force added to that weight.

Fills done by patient at home
To tell you the truth, I worry more about any doctor these self-fill people might go to after having done their own fills. If people want to be stupid, that's on them, but with how sue-happy everybody is these days, could you imagine a self-filler going to a doctor afterwards with a problem or issue and the doc gets the blame for having done something wrong and being sued??? Who would know, unless the self-filler was honest about doing the work themselves? :smile2:

Hm, could you mention it to her in a way that wouldn't come across as accusatory? Something like, "I noticed that I had a mistake in my spreadsheet that you corrected, but it would really help me to know exactly what my mistake was so that I don't repeat it in the future. Could you let me know what it was, please, so that I can put forth an exemplary product?" Geez, it's like you peed in her corn flakes or something! My mom always says that I have issues working for people, and she's probably right. I don't like unfairness and bullcrap in the office. I really don't deal with it well. I work hard and am a perfectionist in my work and also wish I could have been recognized for it where I was before, but it wasn't gonna happen. I would have work up to my yahoo and keep up with it but would get a memo from the new bit-- er, boss saying that the shredding needed to be kept up with. Stupid cow.

Hehehe, good point! YAAAAAY!!! I am so proud of you!!! And proud again!! That is SO fantastic! That suit is gorgeous!! And you're right about the weight loss -- it's nice to know we WILL be there. I'm almost a tad worried that the clothes I got off eBay right before I quit won't fit by the time I get back to work. It's kind of a mixed emotion.

When you watch and hear about the stupidity of people in the news and from other sources, believe this is also happening. :smile2:

They aren't doing anything the "natural way." Nobody can maintain what they do at the ranch once they get back into real life.

You know the old saying about an attorney who represents himself has a fool for a client? Now switch up the professions.

How are the banded Notorious Novembers???
Just make sure you try to fill up on foods that stay with you for a while and maybe you will feel more in control or less hungry between meals. I know there is a list of some really good stuff somewhere, but exactly what escapes me right now, sorry.

How are the banded Notorious Novembers???
I haven't posted here in a while, but wanted to update my fellow Notrious-es! lol I'm down 58 pounds and got my pre-op measurements from my doc's office today (got my 6th fill), and though they only measured neck, chest, waist, hips, both thighs, and both arms (whereas I include a few more areas based on a chart I have), I am down nearly 4.5 FEET of flesh! I've lost 53.25 inches, to be exact. In 10 pounds I will simply be obese on the BMI scale. I started at 290.6 and am now at 233. I have a huge goal in mind, but I'm going to try really hard to get to 200 by my 44th birthday on July 22. That gives me 71 days (including today, I think) to get there. That means I will have to lose about 14 pounds each month plus the little bit extra for the remaining 11 days. I know it may be a stretch, but it is a goal nonetheless. I had a whooptie weekend where anything went, but that is over. Let's see how it goes, shall we?

And David -- omg, wasn't that equal to the weight he lost on the ranch and no more? I hate to say this, but even though Daniel did SO good, his face was cuter when he was heavier. I don't mean that in an ugly way, I promise... Overall they did very well. It couldn't have felt good for David to be there amongst all the losers.

It's been made more than apparent that whenever some idiot starts freakin' out on the news, sheeple follow. I.e. swine flu, "global warming," Obama being president-worthy material and not just some "community organizer"...

Tara certainly looked healthier. Helen looked great in the dress, but yeah, you really saw how thin she was in her weigh-in outfit. She's too thin for her age. And Jerry -- omg, he looked nearly 20 years older than he is! Also too thin.

Nicole AND her fiance look fan-freakin-tastic!! I'm so excited to see the final three, especially Tara. Well, and also Helen. She looked SO good in her "goal" clothes a couple weeks ago. Hubby just said Daniel may give Jerry a real run for his money.

I have to agree. Poor Jerry almost looks emaciated.

Bird birth? You mean laying an egg? I suppose so, though it's an infertile egg, thank GOD! lol

CC, you know I would have been more than happy running your ass off yesterday instead of you having that chocolate milkshake. But considering this past weekend consisted of wine (with you, of course), beer, pizza, Chinese food, and Ben and Jerry's, I have nothing I can say. Glad I got my fill today. And glad I started my liquids one day early cuz the 4.5 pounds I gained from all the crap was gone as of today. PJTP: My blue and gold macaw laid her first egg this morning. I have mixed feelings -- kinda like, "Aw, my baby girl just had her first period," and "Omg, how do I make it STOP??"

Miss California and Gay marriage
I don't get it... I thought this was a right-wing issue. When shown your messiah said virtually the same thing Miss California did, all you have to say about HIM is two wrongs don't make a right? True, two wrongs may not make a right, but three rights make a left. :mad2:
